My buyer snatched it right out from under everyone! Yup, that’s right. Most dealers in the Alabama market are cussing me from the plains of north Alabama, to the coast, to the Mississippi line to 45 miles west of Birmingham on Interstate 20. We knew that this clean ride was coming on the market and I bought this out from under all of them. You expect vehicles this nice from Grove Automotive Group, Inc.! Options: Finished in polar white with a soft gray accent stripe and parchment leather, this ULTRA CLEAN 1999 Volvo S80 T6 Twin Turbo features about everything that you expect in a Swedish sport sedan beginning with the smooth and responsive 2.8 Liter 24-valve 6-cylinder Twin Turbo powerhouse teamed with a 4-speed automatic overdrive transaxle, driver, passenger and side SRS (air bags), Volvo’s own SIPS™ (side-impact protection system), fully automatic dual-zone climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power front seats, special T6 factory alloy wheels, tinted glass, factory sound system, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, rear window defroster, rear sunshade and much more! Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride! This vehicle is riding on a very new set of touring tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found it to be in very good order. The prior ONE OWNER has had this vehicle serviced at the Volvo dealer and all of the service stamps are up to date. We did the service that would take the vehicle to the next interval and marked the book for you. For starters, we installed a NEW TIMING BELT so that you wouldn’t have to wonder about the last service. Although not due because of the low mileage, why not just get it done? So, we did. While we were servicing the timing belt, we installed new Denso® brand spark plugs. We typically do spark plug changes with the timing belt service. Moving along, we did an oil change, even though one was done about 2,500 miles ago. We wanted everything to be up to date for the new owner. Continuing under the hood, we noted that the coolant expansion tank needed changed so we installed a new expansion tank, coolant level sensor, cap and expansion tank hose which runs to the back of the engine coolant manifold. It’s done so that you don’t have to think about it. The air filter has just been changed so we vacuumed the debris out of the air box that accumulates during driving. Our diagnostic software showed a front oxygen sensor that was functional, but a little “slow”, so we changed that item for you. Moving to the chassis, the brakes pads were about half or less so we installed new brake pads on the rear and new rotors and pads on the front. The climate control worked just fine so we installed a new cabin air filter. The job was finished by installing a new wiper blades. All in all, we did what would have amounted to $2,500 worth of service to this vehicle if you bought all of this after the sale yourself! Shop around and then ADD IT UP! We don’t use some rhubarb pie tobacco-spitting shop that cuts corners and tells more lies than Carter has peanuts. We do the work ourselves so that we know that it is done RIGHT! There is a storage fee after the first 30 days (first 30 days are at no charge) and we offer the storage up to 90 days when the balance is to be paid in full. You can take up to 90 days to pay for the vehicle as long as you follow the payment schedule that is posted.
