I am selling an awesome 1985 Jeep Cherokee Laredo that only has 127,858 original miles! The truck has almost $2000 in wheels and tires alone not including the lift. The whole package was done a little over two years ago. A Rough Country 4.5" lift was installed and the 33" Dick Cepek tires were put on. It rides on 17" wheels so it looks flat out awesome! It is a 5 Spd and does have 4X4 which works perfect. Everything is working just as it should. An Alpine CD player and Pioneer speakers were put in so the stereo sounds nice. I would say the tires have a little more that 50% tread left so you can get some good use out of them. The body is in great shape overall with hardly any dings what so ever. The paint looks nice and there are only a few small surface rust areas. The interior could use a little love. The seats are dirty, carpets have been pulled out, and the driver side floor board is rusty. Mechanically this thing is sound. Just recently the carburetor has started to act up. The truck starts right up and runs. However it will eventually stall unless you keep it running. Worst case you purchase a new carb and call it good. There is a slight oil leak coming from the driver side valve cover. And I do mean just ever so slight. If it is parked in the same spot for an entire day you will see only a small coin size drop. It is something I personally would replace however it is not a dire need. Otherwise no other leaks. Tranny and clutch are in good working condition. This is an awesome Jeep that has had a lot of money put into it. Just needs a little love to be great. Or keep it as is and you'll have a heck of a wheeler. It also does have an after market exhaust system. This is a good clean Jeep that someone is going to love! I have the reserve set incredibly low so do not miss out. The Jeep is incredibly tight and solid. The passenger side gasket was replaced about a year ago at a local shop for $75. So this is a very inexpensive repair and one that could be done yourself. The body on this thing is exceptional for the year. It is not beat up and the paint really looks great. This truck has never been used as an offroad trail rig. In fact it has only been on a few camping trails since all parts were put on. This really is a heck of a Jeep. We have the reserve set for less than what was spent on the wheels and tires.
