Vehicle Detail
1973 FORD F-250 HIGHBOY 4X4 Up for auction is an old 1973 Ford that has had alot of work done to it. There is a lot of before and after pictures all the way down at the bottom of the listing. It has a re-built 390 Motor that runs very strong and does not use oil, and DOES NOT LEAK OIL. You dont have to do much more than turn the key and she'll fire up and runs soooo smooth... I just resealed the motor and put new valve stems seals in. The motor does not smoke and purrs like a kitten. I also just put in a 3 core Desert Tank Radiator. It has a granny low 4 speed manuel transmission. When the motor was rebuilt, it had a new clutch, pressure plate and thow out bearing put in. Reverse is over an up. It has a divorce transfer case. It has new u-joints, all six of them. It has also a Posi Trac rearend. It has a new Eldebrock 4 barrel carb 650. Has dual exhuast that turn out in front of the rear tires, It has a brand new heater core. The inside of the cab was completely taken apart and the heating system was taken apart and cleaned out and it works perfect. The fuel tank was taken out and cleaned and put back in. The cab was painted while everything was out of it. It has all new bearings and seals in front and rear end. This truck does not have power steering from the factory. The steering box is very tight, drives very well. I have drove it and have let go of the wheel and it does not wander at all. I did not put a floor mat back in the truck. The floor boards was sealed to prevent rust and as you can see by the pictures there is no rust and is a solid cab. Which this will make it so easy to clean. The gear shifters for the transmission and transfer case are polished steel and clear coated. All of the gauges and the lights work. All of the glass is good and the windshield has no chips or cracks. Wipers work as they should with new blades amd windows role up and down. Door panels are in great condition. The stock radio is an AM/Radio. All of the exterior lights work, including blinker and 4 ways. I did a roll-in bed liner. The tires are 33x12.50x16 with Aluminum center line rims. The pick-up has Power/Drum Brakes and new brake shoes and good drums. The brakes work great. The truck has absolutely NO RUST. I did a body off restoration and replaced the old bed with another bed that was strait and had no rust in it, i also replaced the fenders, doors, and the hood, as you can see by the pictures in photo-bucket. It has a fresh paint job done inside and out. The color is Wimbelton White. The seats are in excellent condition, there is no tears but the cloth has sun faded and has kind of a green tint, but it does look good in the truck. There is some very small dings in the truck. It is not a show truck but it looks beautiful. All of the frame and the cab has been undercoated. Truck is sold As Is, Where Is. I will meet you at the boise airport and you can drive it home If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me and I will answer in a timely manner.
