Vehicle Detail
Hey everyone, Got a 1976 Ford F250 high boy up for sale. Truck has the Ford 360 V8 (best motor available in those trucks), 4-speed manual tranny with granny gear, divorced NP205 transfer case, Dana 44 front end and Dana 60 rear end, Holley Street Dominator 650CFM carburetor, Holley Street Dominator intake manifold, 157XXX miles, original blue paint, body and frame PERFECT except for a dent in the drivers side rear fender near the tail light. Doors close like butter. There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ANYWHERE except for some surface rust on the wheels and on the floorboards. The truck is originally from Inland California, but was in San Luis Obispo since '09, and then I bought it last weekend and drove it down to thousand oaks, with no issues except a blown tire (that's why there's a spare on it right now) and I still have the matching rim. Motor runs like new, no knocks, misfires or ticks. Tranny shifts great. Motor has gobs of power. 4WD works great. All gears in the tranny and transfer case work and don't slip. This truck is absolutely PRIME for restoration. Needs a full interior though. Seat is good but needs upholstery. Truck has 4-point harnesses. Grant steering wheel has been installed. Truck has power brakes and hydraulic assist steering. Disc brakes up front, drums in the rear. Tires are 33x12.5x16.5. Truck is 3/4 ton, longbed, 8 lug. Truck has not been registered since 1997 but all fees ($1300) have been paid up in '10 by the previous owner. Truck will need another $150 in registration to bring it up to date. Windshield has a crack on the passenger side but all other glass is good. Sliding rear window works fine. Tail lights and turn signals have a bad connection somewhere and work off and on. Heater has been disconnected, but the PO said it worked, but I cannot verify. No fluid leaks at all!!!! Truck starts up every time.If you're looking for a primo restoration vehicle with straight body and frame, great drivetrain that needs some TLC, this one is for you! Here is a link to more pics.
