Vehicle Detail
1996 GMC SUBURBAN, 4wd, Dual Air, third seat, good running condition. I am selling this vehicle because I purchased another suburban to be put to the same use as this one and I don’t need 2 of them. VIN:1GKFK16R7TJ706157 I have owned this vehicle for 5 years and it has been a great vehicle. I have maintained it very well, but it’s getting to be a bit too rough for my family to travel in. This vehicle is a mixture of good and bad. Depending upon the type of person you are and what your purpose may be for this vehicle this may turn out to be an excellent deal for you. Cosmetically it’s fair, mechanically it’s fair with some good spots. It had a new transmission 2 years ago. It has had many new parts over the years and recently to keep it running and reliable. I have taken this vehicle to Florida and Tennessee within the past 2 months. It is very reliable and the engine is strong. I had a minor fender bender with it several years ago while traveling in California, hence the bent fender on the passenger front side. New ones cost about 100 dollars or less. I was just too busy to ever fix it. I do have a replacement front bumper that goes with the vehicle, again never got around to putting it on. The hood has dents in it as well due to a load falling off of a vehicle in front of me. It has a recent smog inspection just a few months ago. New parts on this vehicle include the following: Starter, alternator, water pump, fan clutch, transmission, radiator, intake gaskets, brake rotors, shocks, AC compressor, heater core valve, EGR valve, power steering hose. The tires are fair. Cosmetically the vehicle could be brought back to proper condition with the repleacement of the following items: carpet, seat covers, rear hatch speakers, rear air control radio knobs, good generally cleaning and detailing. My kids have been a bit rough on this vehicle in regards to the knobs missing and the rear speakers damaged. I am selling this vehicle in a no reserve auction, I am not open to inspections until the last day of the auction as I am out of town until then, but if a winning bidder finds the vehicle to differ from the description, I would be willing to agree to not complete the transaction. With all of the above description, I would consider this vehicle to be reliable, cheap transportation for a larger family, or a work truck, or a boat tower. I am located only 30 minutes south of the airport in Atlanta and would be happy to pick any buyer up there. I know a good shipping company if a buyer needs shipping arranged. I could also deliver this within 50 miles upon full vehicle payment before departure and at $1 per mile.
