BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO PAY THE $4,000.00 DEPOSIT AND ALSO TO PAY FOR THE CAR BEFORE BIDDING. THE LAST TIME THIS CAR SOLD ON EBAY, THE BUYER HAD TO BACK OUT. EBAYERS WITH 0 FEEDBACK MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE PLACING A BID OR ELSE I WILL CANCEL IT! THANKS . . . Hello and thanks for looking at my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe (graphite/gun metal exterior color). First, I would like to say that this car is listed locally; therefore I have the right to end this auction do to a local sale. Second, I drive the car into town every now and then so the mileage that is listed may actually be a LITTLE bit more by the time the auction ends. I have listed this car on ebay three time - once as a buy it now, once as a reserve auction in which it came close to meeting the reserve. and once with a winning bidder who did not follow through with the purchase due to loan issues with his bank; however, this will be the final time I list it and I am starting it without a reserve at $9,800.00. This car is worth well over $13,000.00 according to multiple pricing sites (KBB and others). My loss is your gain; good luck bidding.. This car is used with 31,550 miles and is in great condition (mechanically and physically). As with any used car, there is the normal wear and tear on the exterior that one would expect to find (a few nicks from small rocks due to highway use) along with a few marks on the rims (common on all of the used crossfires that I have ever seen); if you look at one of the pictures, you will see that there is a scrape mark underneath the front passenger bumper. This mark was already on the car when I purchased it. Pictures do not do this car justice at all; nevertheless, the good condition of the car is very evident in the pictures (sorry but it started to rain while I was taking pictures). The interior (black) is also in good shape. The car was purchased from a local dealer with less than 14,000 miles on it. The majority of the miles that I put on it are highway miles due to the commute back and forth to college (app. 35 minutes each way). I took extra special care of this car; I waxed it regularly and washed it once a week. It was stored in a garage during the winter time and never driven in the snow or on salted roads. It has a 6-speed manual transmission and is extremely quick and powerful. I had a complete Borla exhaust kit - MSRP is around $800.00 - installed professionally. This is the type of exhaust that one finds on Dodge Vipers, Chevrolet Corvettes, and vehicles of the same category. I also had a custom air intake installed professionally (see picture). The sound of the suction from this intake and the exhaust system is amazing (it's not loud like many annoying cars, but it is evident). I do have the original intake that was on the car if the buyer is interested. In addition, I had a Kenwood system installed by a professional with a head unit (see picture) - I do not know exact details about the system because the professional at the store showed me what would be best for my car; however, the amp is 500 watts. The size of the kicker is perfect for the size of the car; the stock speakers that came with the car are outstanding, also. The head unit is touch screen but also comes with a remote. Some features can be used as either touch screen or with buttons. There is a back-up camera installed below the rear license plate (this is hooked up directly to the head unit). The radio (am/fm) is not currently hooked up; however, all it needs is a radio antenna installed into the correct slot of the head unit which is a very easy adjustment - I always used my ipod or an MP3/CD instead of opting to buy the radio antenna for the head unit itself. I still have the stock radio that came with the car if the buyer is interested which would allow you to have the radio and the CD at the same time (along with the screws needed to slide it back into place). There is an insert for an ipod which uses two cords (I will supply the two cords with the purchase) instead of using the aux-in option because it was worn out. Also, the low beams were replaced with a halogen light kit which are very bright and look great in the dark (they have a nice blue tint to them). The only thing this car needs is four new tires. The tires are nearly completely worn and need to be replaced. The vehicle comes with standard warranty from Zurich; the warranty expires in July of 2012 or until the car reaches 49,000 miles, whichever comes first - I paid over $1,000 to get this warranty. I still owe approximately $4,000 to the bank that supplied the loan; therefore, a $4,000 deposit will be required once the car is sold to release the title from the bank and transfer it to the new owner's name. The title will be transferred upon completion of payment. There are multiple ways to accomplish this which can be discussed after the auction ends; nevertheless, I prefer not to use paypal due to the percentage of money that they take out of transactions. This car must be picked up (my area code is 15714). The reason I am selling my car is because I have to study abroad in Spain very soon for an entire semester; I will not be able to afford the payments while I am away from home and I am also hoping that this will pay for the majority of my schooling while I am there. My loss is somebody else's gain. Another thing I would like to mention is my height. I am a 6' 3" male and have no trouble fitting in the car. The power seats move in many directions making it easy to accommodate for what appears to be a small area to sit in. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask; I check my e-mail multiple times each day. Thanks for your interest. If you need to contact me by phone, e-mail me and I will give you my cell phone number.
