Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse for auction. Parts Only!!!! This car gets great gas mileage-- almost 40mpg. Basic: 5 speed manual transmission with reverse Power Windows Power Locks Cruise Tilt steering Power antenna Power mirrors Mileage: 99934 Custom Parts: After market header (unknown brand) Magnflow stainless steel exhaust system (from the headers back) Glow Gauges (Unknown brand) The glow gauge is not currently hooked up. The wire has become disconnected. After market headlights (unknown brand) KNN aftermarket long ram cold air intake Shelby aftermarket wireless remote car starter security alarm system that was installed by a Mitsubishi dealer in Syracuse, NY. The remote car starter is disabled due to the car being a stick shift. Custom power coated rims. The rims on this are, believe it or not, original. I took them to a place that specializes in sand blasting rims in Syracuse, NY. I then had these rims power coated White. There is some wear and tear, and they do need to be cleaned up. There are locking blue lugs. The locking key is in the car. Jensen 9312 HD DVD Navigation Unit with Satellite Radio. It also had HD radio. The truck hosts two Pioneer 12 inch subs with a bridge/amp. The amp is an Alpine MRP-F320 4/3/2 channel. All the speakers have been replaced except the front twitters. They are all Pioneer speakers in the door. The speakers are bridged with the amp in the truck. All new speaker wire has been run the speakers and DVD unit. Please note I do not have the navigation unit only the satellite radio part. I’m not sure if all the parts are there or not. Also comes with the original owner’s manual and Hynes Car repair guide book. Accidents: This car has been in 2 minor accidents and one mishap since I have owned it. The first accident happened in Syracuse, NY. I was rear ended at less than 5 mph by a woman with no insurance. It put a small mark in the bumper. The second accident happened in Washington, DC on 95S. It was also another rear end accident at less than 5mph, with no damage to either car. Lastly, the third one happened in my driveway. I was replacing the ball joints and front driver side axle when the jack stand on the passenger side crunched the frame. From this occurrence, the car may have a salvage title and that’s why I am selling the car for parts only. I am not 100% sure the car will actually have a salvage title, but I did fill out paper work in NC stating it was. This car is registered, titled and licensed in New York. There are no liens on this vehicle. It may be fixable, but I feel it may be unsafe in its present state, and I will no longer drive it. It is still drive-able. There may be someone out there who can fix it up and drive it. I have a whole folder of receipts from oil changes and parts I have replaced on this car. New Parts: New Drive shaft New Ball joints all the way around Brakes: Slotted and drilled rotors. The break life is at least 75% life left on them. They are a little rusty due wear and tear. Tires: I just went out and bought 4 used but almost brand new tries for this car. The tires have less then 8,000 miles on them. I do not know the tread depth. Interior: The car’s floor carpet has stains due to wear and tear, but no rips in it. The headliner has a couple cigarette burn marks from the previous owner. Nothing too noticeable. The seats are in very good shape. There are no tears or stains on them. They are stain and waterproof seats. There is some gum that has stuck to the driver side seat belt. It’s a small little area, not very noticeable. The sun/moon roof doesn’t link in case you were wondering. There is a customized Mitsubishi Lego above the rear view mirror. It’s the cover plate to access the sun/moon roof motor in case the motor quits. The car originally had blue volunteer firefighter lights installed. The wiring is still there, but has been disconnected. Also this car is wired for a laser radar detector that’s no longer installed. Safety: All the seat belts work. The airbags have never been deployed and are in good working condition. Car does not have daytime running lights. Car has aftermarket security system installed. Electronics: All the power windows and locks work. Also the sunroof and moon roof works as well. The power antenna motor has a hard time going up and down. The motor still works, I just think the antenna is off track. Exterior: The exterior is in good condition except the following areas. I had a ball joint let go on the front driver side. It broke the plastic around the wheel well and put a small crease in the upper fender. Also the driver side door makes a noise when opening. It’s hitting on a red plastic piece. There is no rust except a small spot underneath the truck lid. There is no rust in the door jams or body of this car. Both fog lights work. All lights are functioning at this time. There are some minor dings from people’s doors hitting my car. You can only see it from an angle. Engine: The oil has been changed about every 3000 miles due to an oil leak. I have never replaced anything under the hood except plugs and wires. I have a brand new set of plenum plugs in the package that will come with this car. There is a seal that is leaking oil. Not sure of the location of the leak though. It doesn’t leak a ton of oil, but every time I went for another oil change it was down a quart of oil. Unknown condition of any other engine part or parts. The check engine light is not on at this time. History: I believe I am the third or fourth owner of this car. I bought this car from a friend years ago with about 45,000 miles on it. She bought the car from an older woman who never drove it. It has only been in a few upstate New York winters. I only drove this car in the summer time and it was stored in the winter time in a heated garage. I moved south a few years ago and it has been my daily transportation until the repair mishap.
