Up for your consideration is a 1972 LT 1 4 SPEED CUSTOM T-TOP STING RAY CORVETTE. The last of the rear removable window. The engine is the believe to be ORIGINAL " K " CODE LT1, the ORIGINAL OPTION ZR1 CLOSE RANGE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION, and the SUSPENSION PACKAGE. In the 80's the car was customized w/ the DAYTONA HOOD, REAR SPOILER, SHARK NOSE and HEADLIGHTS, CHANGING THE GAS TANK, and making a functional storage area in back with a removable Tonneau cover. The Engine was removed, rebuilt and painted some years ago, but after driving it on the highway the engine cut out and does not start. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ENGINE. RECENT WORK AND NEW COMPONENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: All SEAL GASKETS, HOSES, BELTS, CLUTCH (Has 200 Miles) TIRES, QUADRAJET CARB, ALTERNATOR, BATTERY, THE ENTIRE BRAKING SYSTEM ARE NEW INCLUDING CALIPERS, ROTORS AND PADS, 8mm HIGH TEMP. WIRES W/ NEW DISTRIBUTOR, CAP AND ROTOR, and THRUST GLASS PACKED EXHAUST. This STINGRAY ran perfect until recently. She is virtually rust free including frame, birdcage, chassis, and floor boards are in great shape. Intetior is in good shape from a newer 1980 vette but not perfect. All gauges work Fuel, water temp, Clock even works. Oil, battery, and rpm do not work. Paint is good but not Barrett/ Jackson quality.
