Vehicle Detail

This is just a really neat, fun 911 with endless possibilities. At $12,950 or best offer, it represents a tremendous value and is priced for a soft market. Striking, in bright Guards Red, this 80's hotrod / turbolook is a real stand out just as it is, but just imagine it backdated with some IROC bumpers & a Ducktail! MOTOR & TRANSMISSION: Original 2.2L with nicely tuned Zenith carburetors. Runs awesome and revs to red line without hesitation (once its warmed up). Leaks a little oil, but doesn't burn anything noticeable between changes. Has some smoke at start up, but none once warmed up. Original 901 5 speed shift nicely in and out of all gears. Clutch feels great with no hint of slipping. Miles on any of this running gear, or rebuilds can't be verified, but the car runs and drives great at all speeds. PAINT, BODY, EXTERIOR: Most of the 80's transformation was done many years ago, so it has a few touch ups and flaws here & there, but overall is still amazingly shinny and straight. The Red glows like neon in the sun and has no dull spots, crackling, glazing etc...With full rear quarters, front fenders and bumpers being fiberglass, this would also make a super lightweight racer! Front bumper is glass with OEM rubber spoiler and smile, rear bumper is all glass. Rear tail is OEM and has great rubber lip still. Headlights are the hard to come by and much desired H1 units (two bulbs per light, one for low & high beams each). Other than a dime sized spot of surface rust near the hood emblem, car appears to be rust free. Front pan was recently replace do to battery corrosion. Big black 16x8 BBS alloys all the way around with newer 225/50/16 Z rated tires. All the exterior lights work as they should and sunroof operates nicely still. INTERIOR: Redone in Black, interior is very nice with no rips, stains, fading or tears. The original Dash has the notorious crack in the middle but still not bad comparatively and does come with a cover that hides it. Rare Formuling steering will in great condition. Horn and all interior lights function properly as well as the windshield wipers and heater. High end Kenwood CD/stereo with 4 Polk Audio speakers (sounds great).
