NEW PHOTOS AVAILABLE http://2000celicagts.smugmug.com My DSL upload is slow and they're currently uploading but a few are up already. These are 9 Megapixel photos, so mouse over the right side of the photo for a menu to come up and click on Original to see the full size and detail. The car is in great shape, colored bright red, it's a very smooth driving car. It's the GTS, which has the larger motor with plenty of power but still gets great gas mileage; I've gotten as much as 31 on the highway. It's automatic, with leather seats, glass sunroof, everything is power but the seats. The automatic transmission also features a sport-shift feature that allows you to control what gear the car is in, which adds to the performance acceleration of the car. The buttons are located on the front of the steering wheel (towards the gauge cluster) where your index fingers may access them easily. The car handles beautifully and will turn on a dime, it's actually saved me from two potential accidents, one from a deer crossing in front of me at night and another from someone turning in front of me on a one-way street like it was a two way while I was in the left lane just behind them. If I hadn't been in this car, both of those would have resulted in a collision, the ABS and the great turning saved me! I've owned the car since November of 2009, so there's not a lot of maintenance history that I have knowledge and record of. I know that the dealership put new brakes on the car, I put a new battery in her a couple of months ago as well as replacing a headlight bulb, which turned out to be a lot easier to do than I had anticipated. I've been using Valvoline Synthetic Blend which is made for high mileage cars and contains some good cleaning agents. Valvoline is rated by far the best oil available only after the much more expensive Royal Purple. There isn't anything about the car's day to day performance that would lead me to believe anything hasn't been taken care of on this car and I am very sensitive about little idiosyncrasies that might hint at a problem, I drive my mechanic friend who has his own shop up the wall with me freaking out about things that I think I feel and hear - lol One other thing I had done as a part of my negotiations with the dealer was to get the dings on the car taken out, it was about $350 worth of work that I drove back up to Chicago for, so the car is virtually ding free now. There's lots of tread on the tires, all the power options work, cruise is fine, seat belts retract, leather is in very good shape with no noticeable wear or cracks. I will take some better pictures when I get a clear day after work. The car is in great shape though, but I realize everyone would like to see the best pictures possible. As long as you keep in mind that it's an eleven year old car, I don't think anyone would be disappointed at all (and I have gone to look at cars that didn't look like what they appeared to be in the photos, even high-res can be deceptive; this is not one of those).
