Hello everybody...you are looking at, and bidding on, a nice example of a 1953 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, 2 Door Hardtop. I am listing this vehicle for my boss, who is the owner of the car, in La Mesa, CA. where the vehicle is located. The vehicle has undergone a partial restoration over the last 2-3 years... including paint, chroming, interior replacement and minor mechanical work. I would say it is about 90% complete. As you can see from the pictures, it still needs the engine bay re-done, replacing the front running light assemblies, wheel centers and such. All the parts needed to complete the project are readily available from Ebay sellers and Cadillac Recyclers around the country. The vehicle was purchased from the ORIGINAL owner's nephew approx. 4 years ago. It wears a very close match to the original paint scheme, as well as the interior. It is a very good looking combination. You can imagine the looks, and "thumbs-up" you'll get cruising down the street with this old-school classic. The car has not been driven regularly in the last few months, so a tune up and carb freshen-up would be in order. As I recall, the car has approx. 75,000 miles on it. As mentioned before, the vehicle is currently in La Mesa, CA. just outside of San Diego at our Retail Facility, Better Life Mobility Center, 1-619-474-4072. The vehicle can be viewed Monday thru Friday, daytime hours and weekends by appointment.
