The car was kept in a garage or barn its entire life since purchased new at a Cadillac dealership in Bloomington, IN back in 1970 (However, I am not the original owner). It is a rare car due to its color and the fact that it was made in the first half of 1970 before Cadillac switched to the Coupe deville's. It is in original condition and has not been restored so please do not expect a flawless car; I will describe it as best as possible as well as add additional pictures to demonstrate the cars actual condition. Thanks and good luck bidding-Please give me a call at 1(812) 327-2675 and I will be more than happy to answer your questions you may have. Exterior Nottingham Green paint w/ White Convertible Top-Brand new wide white-wall tires from Coker TIRE. The paint is in excellent shining condition for its age, with the exception of a few small surface rust bubbles on bottom of drivers side rocker panel & a couple very small dings (very cheap to repair if necessary). The glass is in perfect shape, no cracks. Chrome is in good overall condition with some slight pitting on various pieces. Top is bright white, believed to be original. This car appears to have been repainted sometime years ago, however it is the original Fire Mist Nottingham green lacquer paint. Interior White leather seats, white panels, green carpet and dash- the interior is great shape. All controls and functions work great (w/ the exception of the dash clock and radio). Seats are in good shape, no rips or tears just some cracking from being sat in over the years (mostly on driver’s seat & rear pass. bottom). Carpet is in perfect shape, no staining or burns. Dash and door panels are also in great shape including all trim, absent of cracks and fading (very small crack on passenger side door panel). Drive-train 472 cubic inch 8 cylinder engine-Automatic transmission-Engine starts up quickly and runs smooth, transmission shifts right and feels like new. There are several new parts on engine, which are listed above. Engine compartment looks very good. Transmission is solid, no slipping or hesitations. Exhaust has new muffler. The car is very solid, no road noise, no pulling and all the suspension in very good shape. Runs, drives like a Cadillac should. Trunk It has a solid trunk, no rust through holes in the pans, original inserts and carpet. Car comes with the owner’s manual, protector plate, spare tire/tire jack and the convertible top boot witch is white as well. I can have this car shipped to your location for an additional amount if this is something that you might consider upon purchasing. This vehicle is 41 years old and has not been restored, so please no "tire kickers". There are a few things that are not in pristine condition as a person might assume with age. Please go to http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1970/Cadillac/Deville/2-Door-Convertible/Values to see average pricing for this vehicle.
