Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this car based completely on my test drive and observations about the car. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and am not qualified to make statements other than my own observations. If you or your mechanic would like the opportunity to inspect a vehicle before bidding, just ask. I will be happy to make an appointment to meet you at my warehouse. I will also answer any questions about this vehicle through email. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. You are buying wholesale direct with NO RESERVE. I do not service or recondition any vehicle unless specifically stated within the description. Please read the entire description before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1993 Chevrolet K3500 4x4 pickup truck with the Silverado package. I would rate the body of this truck as ABOVE AVERAGE compared to most work trucks out there. What makes this truck perfect for work is the double cab which can fit five adults comfortably, the 8' bed to haul all of your gear and four wheel drive with the payload of a one ton truck without the bulk of a dually. Of course, there are some dents and scratches throughout that you would expect from a truck that has worked most of its life but I saw no rust which is unusual for one of these. Please review all of the photos. I thought I was going to have to set my camera to panoramic to get the whole thing... This is a good looking truck. It cleans up pretty well but could use a fresh coat of wax to really shine. In addition to a receiver hitch below the rear bumper, it look like there is one of those hidden gooseneck hitches in the bed. See the photo of the bed. I've seen these that flip when not in use so that you can have a usable bed without the rails getting in the way. I haven't messed with it but I think that is what it is. All of the glass is in tact. The tires have plenty of tread all around, too. The interior of this truck is also in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for a work truck. The seats are all in pretty good shape. The only wear I noticed was on the right drivers seat arm rest. Otherwise, the seats really don't show much wear. The carpets are relatively clean for a 20 year old truck. I saw no holes or excessive wear in the carpet. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work as they should. The factory radio still works and sounds fine. The heater controls all work as they should. The original owners manuals are still in the glove box. The cab is very roomy and comfortable to drive in. Like I said, this was obviously a work truck so it's not going to be perfect but it's in very good shape for a 20 year old truck. Mechanically, this truck is a mixed bag. The 454 cubic inch V8 starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. The engine compartment is pretty clean and I couldn't find evidence of any leaks. I have driven this truck a few times and it runs very well. I have over 60 miles (and counting) on it...I am taking advantage of having such a big truck and am using it for some spring cleaning around the house and my warehouse. The suspension, steering and brakes all feel very good. There are no rattles, shakes or squeeks when you drive this truck. Driving down the highway, it tracks nice and strait with no issues. The transmission is not working properly. It seems to be only using 2nd and 3rd gear while moving forward. In spite of this, she gets around pretty well thanks in no small part to the power house 454. I have driven it all around and it drives fine. On the highway, it'll do 55mph at 2,000 rpm and 65mph at 2,500 rpm so it can get around fine. If you do local work and need a heavy truck to haul a small crew and gear, this truck is perfect. I would run it the way it is as long as I could. I don't know much about these transmissions. Fixing it could be as simple as a soleniod, servo or valve body that is servicable without removing the trans. The worst case would be a used one for about $500+/-. Like I said, I've driven it a few times and it does fine locally. Even light highway driving is no problem. I just wouldn't want to take it out on a major highway where traffic moves over 80mph. That might be a little much for 3rd gear. This truck would be perfect for a contractor, landscaper, ect... who does mostly local work. You can absolutely drive this truck home and all around. It could go faster in 3rd than 65 but I didn't want to spin that 454 too fast. Feel free to email with questions. Actual miles on the truck may vary slightly as I am driving this truck daily. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
