CJ5 which has had numerous amounts of work done to it, however I won't call it a total restoration like others might be inclined to do. Just about everything has been replaced or repaired, but still may need minor tinker work to complete depending on your likes/dislikes. Jeep is drivable at this point, and can be driven the way it sits. Pictures don't show seat belts installed yet, but front belts are there now. Engine has less than 20 miles since being overhauled, and feeding it is a new weber carburetor. Has new extra capacity radiator with electric fan. Electrical system has been upgraded with new wiring and fuse block. Headlight switch and ignition switch were also replaced, so the only electrical component that's not new is the wiper motor switch/motor. Complete brake system has been refurbished including rubber lines and wheel cylinders - Emergency brake cables are also new. Steering gear box and other components including upper/lower ball joints for steering have also been replaced. Gas tank was replaced along with fuel sending unit. Stainless steel bolt kit was used to assemble the body. Too many items are NEW too list everything. Image of odometer represents the current mileage on this CJ since it was re-assembled - The majority of these miles shown are from running on jack stands while verifying the 3 speed trans, new clutch assembly, and that the 4x4 functioned properly. I would guess this Jeep has less than 5 hours of actual run time for doing various test like making sure the electric fan cycles on/off properly at desired temperature range, and doing preliminary carburetor/timing adjustments. This Jeep was removed from frame, outside sheet metal was sand blasted too bare metal, and under carriage was rhino lined along with interior and then painted. All needed items were replaced, or repaired while putting it back together. This WAS NOT built as a show vehicle, and was intended to be a solid driver. Has "ten footer" paint job - It's Not Perfect, and I didn't worry about repairing every little dent and ding, so you should have No Fear actually using it. One thing it definitely needs is an exhaust tailpipe - I decided to leave the exhaust outlet location up to the buyer since everybody has their own preferences. Also - She is completely TOPLESS, so if you want to dress her that's your choice, and the heater box is not installed but will come with it. Just a Thought - If your coughing at the price - How much is your time worth? By the time you locate a CJ5 worth the effort. Then spend time locating parts to get to this point. If you have the skills - Doing the Work. If you don't have the skills - Paying someone else. It all adds up in the long run. Sure this Jeep isn't perfect, but if it was - The price wouldn't be this CHEAP! Really doesn't matter to me if it sells - Working on old vehicles, and offering them for a fair price is just a hobby of mine. Take a look HERE for a couple others I have brought back to life.
