For sale is a 1998 Honda Prelude SH, 5 Speed Manual with only 81,0000 miles! I have owned the car for about 3 years with the intent of turning it into a show quality vehicle. Unfortunately, in 3 years I have graduated college and the car no longer suits my needs. The car has the gas mileage of a 4 cylinder with the power of a V-6 engine, putting out 200 hp with the H22A 4-cylinder engine. This car has no problem getting up to speed, and with Honda's V-tech technolology, you can really feel the power in the higher RPM range. The car has always started for me, and I have yet to have any mechanical issues with it at all. CONDITION: The car is in fair condition, but does need some work to reach its potential. The car runs fine and has no mechanical issues that I've seen. The front brake pads and rotors have been changed and are basically new, and I have new brake pads and rotors (in box) for the rear that I have not had a chance to install, but will be included with the car. The Magnaflow muffler has less than 1,000 miles on it, but the exhaust piping itself is stock and has some rust. The car sounds great and the muffler is a high quality stainless steel exhaust that doesn't sound cheap (not too loud, but a great low-tone over the silent stock sound). The car has been repainted from its factory color by the previous owner, and could use a fresh clear coat. As you can see in the pictures, the front bumper needs repaired or replaced, but the rest of the body kit is in good shape. Being a northern car, there are a few small areas where there is rust, but no major or even moderate rusting (what little rust there is can be sanded and touched up). The car does have a salvage title, having been in an accident in the front right of the car, but does not pull or have any apparent issues or noises. The accident occurred while under the last owner, so the exact details of repair are unknown to me. The airbags did deploy because of the sensor being located in the front corner of the car. They have not been replaced, but have been cleaned up so they are not an eye sore. All of the features you would expect are available in the car, such as Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows and Sunroof, Power Locks. The car has an aftermarket CD player with Auxiliary input, so you can hook up any device that has a headphone jack (ipod/cell phone/laptop, etc). The AC blows cold and the heat and defrosters work without issue. Cruise Control hasn't been working since I purchased the car, but it's an option that is rarely used and could be as simple as a sensor. I've done my best to describe the car with as much scrutiny as possible, but the pictures tell the real story and potential of this great car! The car has EXTREMELY low miles for a Honda, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a Prelude with such low miles on it for the price. Buyer is responsible for Shipping/Pickup, but I will help with the process to a reasonable extent. PAYMENT: I will require an immediate (Non-refundable) deposit of $500 to end an auction early. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. If no contact is made within 48 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.
