Rare FIND! 45,450 MILES All Original Numbers Matching 1971 Nova Super Sport Factory Buckets, Floor Shift and Center Console Engine code CJD, 350/270hp engine backed by the turbo 350 automatic transmission and a very rear option for the 1971 Nova, a 12 bolt rear end with the 3:73 gear. The 270 hp engine and the 12 bolt were only available on the Super Sport package. Please note the factory installed rear sway bar system, F41 suspension, again very rare for the 1971 Nova and very hard to find these days. The under carriage and trunk was protected with an under coating application, most likely applied by the dealer at the time of sale their is some rust on the lower rocker panels below the doors . Please note the factory primer in the truck photo. The car needs paint and body work. The car has rust on the front two fenders and driver side quarter panel including the trunk lid. The interior is completely original and shows no sign of wear and tear at all, seats, dash, headliner, door panels, center console and the carpet, just found a part number ticket for the carpet attached to the carpet under the passenger’s front seat. All lights, gauges, horn, wipers, and ignition / key buzzer still works. The car runs and drives great and very solid. The transmission has been replaced and is not numbers matching. Paint code 49 is Antique Green Poly which makes this car even more rare. This was only used in 1971 and was put on very few SS cars.On Apr-13-11 at 06:41:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I stoped the action that ended 3-10-11 because of a leak in the transmission case. I discovered at this time the transmission was not numbers matching. I have since replaced it and it drives great. Sorry to any bidders I just did not feel comfortable selling the car until repaired.
