I have for sale a 1977 Jeep CJ7.I bought this jeep from a guy who was relocating to another state and I have only had it about a week so I will describe it to you the best I can I was going to keep it myself but I'm working on two more already.I brought the jeep back to my shop put a new battery in it and fresh gas it had been sitting for a while and it fired off no problem, no smoke at all not even at first no rattle's or knocks exhaust pipes are clean it doesnt look like it's using oil.There are no major oil leaks a little around the valve covers.The 304 V8 is original to the jeep and has plenty of power and the only thing that the engine needs is carb adjustments I'm working on that and some of that is due to the fact it hasnt been driven in about a year.Transmission 3 speed no leaks shifts good feels tight.I havent tried the 4 wheel drive yet but I dont forsee a problem the transfer case looks good I will try it out and post results.I just put the drive shafts in the guy was going to replace them he took them out and couldnt put them in thats why it has been sitting.Chevrolet axles under it look real good no problems I drove it down the road this morning.The body is in decent shape not a lot of rust it needs a windshield and frame.I think this would make a nice jeep to restore or just play with.No title only clean bill of sale its not problem to to get it titled in GA check with your state before you bid.I have this for sale locally so the auction could end at anytime any questions feel free to contact me.Otherwise see pictures as is I havent cleaned or tried to hide anything on this jeep and will be happy to send more pictures if you need.Thanks for looking! Four wheel drive does work just drove it home about 10 miles clutch is good transmission feels tight and plenty of power makes me wonder if I should keep it! Will make someone a good project.
