Vehicle Detail

I bought this Cb750 about a year and a half ago. My intent was to buy a great running CB Honda, chop it,bob it, cafe it, customize it into the bike that I wanted. I found this very clean 1979 Anninversary Edition that ran great, thought I had the bike for my project. When It came time to start tearing it down, cutting fenders, striping off parts, I just couldn't do it. The bike is way to nice, and should be in a collectors hands. It has many more miles to give. So about the bike. It runs awesome. I put about 100 miles on it last summer and loved it. Runs very smooth through all the gears. No misses backfires at all when accelerating. It is of course cold blooded. When chocked and started from cold it takes approx 2 minutes warm up before she is ready to roll at full throttle with no choke. The chrome is in great condition all the way around. My estimate is a 8 out of 10. Fenders or in great shape. There is a small 1/2 to 3/4 inch ding in the front fender. I did my best to show in the pics. The exhaust is great, chrome on exhaust is 8 out of 10 in my estimate, no holes in exhaust anywhere. Forks in great shape. Guage cluster in great shape. Comstar Wheels are in awesome condition. Front tire is weather checked and should be replaced if planning on riding far. Rear tire is in decent shape and looks to have some miles left in it. Brakes work as they should. Chain and sprockets in good condition. The paint is in fair shape for it's age. There is some paint missing from the right front/lower of the gas tank. Looks as if the brake master cylinder at some time had leaked onto the tank causing the bad spot in the paint. I have not noticed any brake fluid leaking from this area currently. Looks like the master cylinder must have been repaired some time in the past. I replaced the battery last fall, and was on a trickle charger all winter. I got the bike out of the garage this past weekend. Started up great, took a quick ride down the road. Ran great! NO problems. As seen in the pics, the front turn signals are off the bike. One of the stems from the front blinkers was broken when I got the bike, so I removed both of them. I still have both Front blinkers ( one broken). After I removed the front blinkers the rears quit flashing, Im sure due to the removal of the fronts. All the other lights/warning lights/guages work as they should. I also have both mirrors for this bike, one of them has a crack in the glass, but the chrome is in great shape on both mirrors. Also have a set of highway bars that will be included with the sale. Again the bike is in great shape, But remember it is 32 years old. I have done my best to show and describe any defects that I am aware of. Please ask any question that you have BEFORE bidding, I will do my best to answer any and all questions. I will not ship this Bike, all shipping will have to be set up by buyer, Bike is sold as is/ no warrant implied. $300.00 Non refundable deposit due within 2 days (48hr) of auction end. Remainder due within 7 days of auction End. Thank you for your time, Happy Bidding. RIDE EM/DONT HIDE EM !!!.
