1999 Honda Accord EX. Green. 187,000 miles. Original owner. (Says 2 because we leased it from Honda in 1999) Non-smoker. Never involved in an accident. Power sunroof. 5 speed manual. 4 cylinder. Great gas mileage. CD player. Beige interior. Recently passed inspection on 3/24/2011. (Sticker says 1/11 because of emissions.) Newer repair work includes full brake job, catalytic converter, charcoal canister, full tune-up, hood latch cable, new taillight. Car has normal wear, tear, dings and scratches. Some rusting around rear wheel well lips. (Common for this car) Could use a good detailing and buffing. We have dogs, but at least their hair matches the interior color. Runs smoothly with no engine problems. Shifts fine. Cold AC. Power sunroof works fine. Still our daily driver. We're buying a mini van so we are begrudgingly saying goodbye. This car should last another 100,000 miles and it's certainly not hard finding parts for it. Need Done: Due for a new timing belt. Emergency brake sticks a little. We had it greased up but you may want to consider replacing it if you use the EB a lot. Can Wait: Knobs for fan and temp control are missing on dash. (Can easily be turned by hand or cheap at salvage yard.) Passenger door lock sometimes doesn't pop up with power door lock button. Lifts fine manually. Front end bushing is worn. Not a safety or control issue. There's just an annoying thump when going over large bumps. Lazy retractable driver seat belt. Being sold in the WORCESTER MASS. area.
