Vehicle Detail
1974 Pontiac GTO 350 Pontiac engine with factory 4 speed Purchased 11/17/1975 with 9,000 miles on it, and I am the second owner. Everything is original other than maintenance items. The car has 64,000 actual miles. This car is ready for any cross country trip. The tires have about 3,000 miles. There are some faults in the original paint that show up in the pictures. The driver's seat cushion has an open seam. Other flaws or wear that shows in the pictures include the package tray at the rear window, and the front plastic is cracked on the seatbelt retractors. The carpet looks as it just came from the showroom. The engine has never been out of the car. A new clutch was put in 2,200 miles ago along with new brakes, and u-joints. (I did not want any trouble when I drove the car from WI to CA where I am currently). The car has been at my winter home on the CA Desert for the past 10 years. The car has been inside all of its life (except when I am driving it). The car is 37 years old and never driven in the rain or snow. The engine is the stock 350 Pontiac 4 barrel carburetor coupled to a factory 4 speed with a 3:08 posi rear end. The original spare tire and wheel is still in the trunk. The trunk itself looks as it did right off the show room. No flaws and no rust, ever. This car drives and handles great. The transmission is tight and shifts as it should. No problem with any gear shifts. The car has never been abused. It burns no Oil what-so-ever. Please note in 1975 I sprayed open gear compound as a rust proof coating to the wheel wells, inside the trunk and inside the door panels and under the hood. I hate rust! You can see some of this compound in several of the pictures. It is not rust. Shipping charges to be paid for by buyer.
