I am offering my 2006 Honda VFR800 (Interceptor) ABS for sale. It has the Pearl White Metallic paint and is truly a work of art. I am a 36 year old rider and recently came to the conclusion that I do not have time for this lovely machine, prioritizing one could say (PRIORITIES: 1. family, 2. work, 3. bicycles, 4. motorcycles) I am sad to have to cut anything out but between family and work, there is not enough time to fully appreciate this Interceptor. I am the 2nd adult owner of this fantastic bike, the first was a good, retired military friend of mine. It was purchased new in 2008 and has apox. 8800 miles on it. The photos don't do it justice, it is absolutely in mint condition and looks beautiful from every angle. No scratches other than a tiny one by the left frame slider (about 1/2 inch long), no dents, no scuffs, no scrubs, or any other detractors. It has some very nice "tasteful" modifications which make it sound and perform much better. The first is a full Leo-Vince (Dual) Carbon Exhaust which sounds fantastic and only have approximately 500 miles since installed (have removable baffles which makes it sound much meaner when removed). Has a lowering link by Sigma Cycles installed which has lowered it 1.5 inches (I am 5'8" and it makes it much more comfortable, however, I am including the original link which can be easily swapped out for original height). Adjustable cnc side stand from Soupys Performance. It has a nice tinted windscreen (Puig Racing) and, Heli-bars added to make the ergonomics more pleasant. It also has a Kaoko cruise control installed (much better than Throttlemeister). R&G frame sliders, rare and the only REAL frame sliders made for the VFR. The tires are almost new (approx. 600 miles) Michelin Pilot Sport, front and back. Also included with the bike, Pazzo adjustable levers, Pro Grip Lock on Grips, Additonal touring windscreen (the sought after MRA Varioscreen), Kriega luggage US10 and US20 for tank and tail mount (the absolute BEST bags you can get). All other original equipment will be included as well, i.e. rear pegs, original windscreen, oem lever, etc. Most likely you're familiar with this bike and how for the last 30 years has been voted the best "all-around" bike made. If you didn't know that, do some research and follow the progression from the ones first made in the 80s, to the 1st Vtec models, to the introduction of the VFR800s. This is a very easy bike to ride and is the best of both worlds between Sport & Touring. It was bought new by the 1st owner in 2008. It has been adult-owned and babied since new. There isnt a thing to report as a detraction. The Exhaust is pure Italian sound and is unbelievable. I have used The Federal Companies (google them) and they might be a little higher, but insurance is included and they will pick-up and/or deliver to a private residence at no extra cost. That way bidders know what they can get the bike for without having a reserve. Both numbers are well under either Kelly or NADA book values and those values are without the modifications and the low mileage. I will accept Pay-Pal as a payment form if it is more convenient (and speed up release for shipping), but will invoice you for the apx. 2% sur-charge charged to me to collect it by Pay-Pal.
