Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a car on ebay, I personally test drive it about 30 miles +/- so that I can tell you first hand how it looks runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based completely on my time driving it and my observations of the car. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and am not qualified to make any statement beyond observations. Personal inspections prior to bidding by yourself or your mechanic are encouraged. I am happy to answer any questions about any car and will do so promptly and honestly. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid amount of each auction. Please understand that you are buying wholesale direct with NO RESERVE. Vehicles are not reconditioned or serviced unless otherwise noted. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Chevrolet Corsica sedan. It is teal on the outside with gray cloth interior. Every once in a while you come across a very nice, low mile car that was very well kept. This IS NOT one of those cars, lol. Overall, the body isn't too bad with the obvious exception of the left fender where it meets the door (see photo). Besides that, she really doesn't look bad for a '94. I did not see any rust which is very uncommon for these cars as they age. All of the glass looks to be in tact. The tires are okay. They are no where near new but they aren't shot yet. Let the photos be your guide. I didn't want to put lipstick on a pig so I didn't wash it at all for the photos. What you see is what you get, not some poor car soaked to death in dressing to make it look like something it's not. The interior is more of the same. I would rate the interior as AVERAGE. Besides two small rips in the sides of the drivers seat back, the seats are actually in decent condition. The carpets and headliner are fairly clean, too. The factory radio is included but not installed. It looks as if someone took their fancy one out when they traded it in. I was able to plug the factory one in and verify that it works properly and sounds good but it will need permanently installed. The drivers seat track is broken, giving it a rocking chair type feel which is really annoying. I ran my hand under the car to make sure there wasn't a rust hole where the seat attaches and I couldn't find any rust so it must be a broken bolt or mount. Lastly, the interior fan is inoperable. A new blower motor is not expensive to do and will most likely be required to pass most state inspections (defroster is required). Again, not all bad but far from perfect. Mechanically, I would rate this car on the low side of average. The upside is the low miles. With under 100,000 on the odometer so far, this one should be just broken in. The V6 starts right up and runs well. The first thing you will notice is an intermittant whine from the power steering pump. I didn't notice any leaks but there is an obvious issue. It may just need bleeding or it may need a new pump, I don't know. The suspension seems okay and the brakes stop the car well. At highway speeds, the car does vibrate noticably. It doesn't seem to pull at all, just some old car shaking at highway speeds. The transmission engages and shifts as it should. During my test drive, the engine held proper operating temperature and ran well. It is PA inspected through the end of August. There were no warning lights on. Given the condition of the car, I would assume that it will need serviced immediately (oil change, ect...). The other stuff may be able to be put off a little depending on your local laws and your intended use of this car. I don't think it will take a fortune to bring her back up to snuff if you are handy. With the low miles, you should be able to run this one for a while with minimal up front investment. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
