The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based completely on my time behind the wheel and my observations of each vehicle. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is an unusually nice 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck. This good looking bright blue step side truck looks good from any angle. Just look at the photos! When was the last time you saw a 92 model truck in this condition? She cleans up very well as you can see! There are some scratches on the tail gate and the drivers cab corner will need attention (the gentleman I bought it from is supposed to be giving me a complete cab corner...I will include it if I get it). Otherwise, I could find no rust on this little truck. All of the chrome looks to be in good condition. The bed looks to be in good used condition. There is a receiver hitch under the bumper with a 7 pin connector. The windshield is cracked and may need replaced to pass inspection depending on your state's laws. The alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in good rubber. Here is your chance to buy a truck that is ready to work without looking all beat up like most older trucks out there. The interior of this Sierra is in great condition. This loaded SLE model comes equipped with power windows and locks. In place of the standard bench seat, there are two comfortable bucket seats with folding arm rests and a large center console with cup holders and a two level storage compartment. The digital climate control seems to be working well but the A/C will need charged. The compressor looks to have been replaced at some point. Pride in ownership shows throughout this truck and can especially be seen in the condition of the interior. The original owners manuals are included and come in their original case. I have put over 200 miles on this truck and it is surprisingly comfortable to drive for long distances. The radio powers up but not all the buttons respond and there is no sound. I don't know what to make of that. Overall, she is remarkably clean in and out for the year and miles. Mechanically, this truck is a strong runner. The 350ci V8 engine starts right up and runs smoothly. My rollback is in the shop getting a new clutch so I bought this just to tow cars with and it does a great job. In fact, last week I ran this truck for more than 9 hours strait without shutting her off and I was towing in excess of 6,000lbs the whole time. It ran beautifully the whole time. The V8 makes plenty of power. The clutch feels good and the transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. This one drives like a new truck! Seriously, she goes 70+ mph down the highway without breaking a sweat! There is no pulling, no vibration, nothing! It drives strait as an arrow. The suspension and steering are both tight and the brakes stop the truck very well even with a trailer hooked up. The only negative mechanically is that the exhaust has a hole so it's a little louder than it should be. I noticed an MSD ignition while looking under the hood. I can't say enough times how nice this truck drives. It blew my mind the first time I drove it!
