This is a 1982 Toyota SR 5 4 x 4 pickup with 170,694 original miles. This is a rust free California truck since new. The engine runs great and doesn't leak, smoke, or overheat. The acceleration is positive and the 22(R) engine has good power. There is an exhaust manifold leak so it is louder than normal. The clutch feels great, and shifting though the gears is effortless. She is a lot of fun to drive. The mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are in good working order. The brakes, steering and suspension all feel proper. Cosmetically the truck needs paint. The body, chassis, floors, bed and frame are all solid and free from any rot. The body is outstanding, and there are no dents or major imperfections to speak of. There are chips paint fading, oxidation, dings, nicks, scratches, etc. The SR 5 has great bones and will look amazing with a new paint finish. The front bumper is in good shape the back one has some imperfections. The interior is original and is presentable. The seats show wear and tear. The carpeting is good along with the headliner. The door panels are in good shape and will need a few clips. The chrome wheels are excellent for there age, and the tires have good tread remaining but are old and have small cracks. This is a rare and original rust free California blue plate truck with the desirable 22 R Drive train. The new owner should be happy with the overall condition.
