For sale is a 1970 ford maverick grabber. Origionally a 250 straight 6 converted to a very strong and healthy v8 (302). This my daily driver and would not hesitate to take road trip across the us with her as she sits mileage will also very slightly as I am still driving this vehicle. MSD ignition box and flame thrower coil ,pro comp aluminum heads cnc machined. 180 cc runners 2.02 intake 1.90 exhaust,stainless steel swirl pollished valves brass valve guids hypertectic pistons ,chrommoly rings new cast iron crankshaft, clevitt bearings ,forged connecting rods with arp bolts. pro comp roller rockers(1.6)arp head bolts and arp rocker studs. , hardened pushrods(.001 shorter) ,edelbrock RPM intake, edelbrock carb. insky cam 270H, melling oil pump, gear drive timing set. headers dual exhaust. c4 transmission built up has red bands and kevlar cluthes A and B servos tci street sizzler valve body new torque converter tci 157 tooth 50oz flywheel. the rear has also been modified its an 8" with 3.55 gears and a mini spool( real posi traction)has traction bars and brand new leaf springs. Has a hurst quarter stick ratcheting floor shifter 5" monster tach with shift light. electric fans with automatic temperature controll. 90/10 shocks on front 70/30's on rear.THIS IS NOT A CAR FOR SOMEONE THATS NOT USED TO THIS KIND OF POWER!!!!!!!! the car needs to be repainted though and about a month ago a kid riding their bike slammed into the drivers side door and put a nice dent there and ripped the mirror half way off.there are a few rust bubbles in the paint at the bottom of the doors. this is a fourty year old car that I have been bringing back to life but still needs help in a few places. she has small dings here and there. i have repainted the hood as I installed a hood scoop (will add pics ) and will have it wet sanded and shining to match rest of the car.. Also I converted the front to 5 lug disc brakes and have not done the conversion to the rear so the rear is still 4 lug. I do however have the matching rims and tires for the rear they are the weld drag stars and also the front they are of era rims not sure if mag or aluminum and chrome.This is not a showroom car!! Its a great looking car and gets attention everywhere you go!!! she is very fast( high 12's -low 13 with stock converter I also have a 3500 stall that will go with the car but if installed she is all out drag!!) sounds good and gets a lot of attention the way she sits.I have her for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. I have a lot of time and money in this car and know even when I turn 80 I will wish I still had her but am a single father of 3 and need something a little more practicle and comfortable for them.That said I will not even consider anything less than $4000 cash. There is a mandatory $500.00 deposit at end of auction.buyer is responsable for pick up or delivery of vehicle.Total payment is required at time of pick up or within 5 days of end of auction which ever happens first.If full payment is recieved I can store car where she sits to give buyer time to get her. car is sold as is with no warrenty where is.
