Honda 1987 CBR-1000F Hurricane with 27k miles. Vin#1HFSC2109HA004554 purchased 11 years ago from original owner. This bike has always been adult owned, meticuliously maintained and stored indoors. All parts such as brake pads, brake calipers, brake masters, tires, valve stems, gaskets, o-rings, grommets, fork seals, wipers, air & oil filters, cables, bulbs, spark plugs, drive chains, sprockets, battery (glass mat), etc. have been replaced exclusively with Honda original factory parts of higher quality. Updated cam chain tensioner installed in 2001. Lubricants are Amsoil synthetic motorcycle engine oil and fork oil. Brake fluid is Military Spec. DOT-5. Gasoline is treated with detergents and stabilizers. In the 1970's and 80's I was a factory trained Honda mechanic and in the Honda Business. Bike runs great, same for paint and other finishes. Normal marks of wear, small scratches and pit are minor you need to look very closely to notice (enlarge side view of left muffler short vertical scratches). Michelin tires have great tread and are ok, but have old DOT codes. I'd suggest some fresh skins for the season. If I had the time and space I would build a motorcycle museum and keep this bike in it. There is just not enough time to ride and maintain all the garage toys.
