If the reserve is met the high bidder gets the car. 1968 Chevelle SS396 138 vin, factory power steering,power drum brakes, non A/C, factory barrel tach,factory bucket seats,console. It was painted duponts mixture of Fatom Blue which is the original color for this car. The body was removed from the frame and the frame has been debured up front for a smooth clean look. non original drivetrain.The engine was overhauled.The block is a 1970 396 bored .060 and debured for a smooth finish as where the engine heads along with new valves,seals and springs, new pistons,rings,bearings,camshaft/lifters,oil pump,ect... it has a Edelbrock RPM intake and 750 carb,aftermarket HEI ignition,headers with full exhaust. The turbo400 trans was also overhauled and there is a 2200-2500 stall converter installed. The 12 bolt rearend has a factory posi unit with aftermarket 4.10 gears. Suspension and steering systems where also done. The car steering is great and it doesnt drift when being driven. the brakes work real good as they should with no pulling when applied. The interior was also replaced with new carpet,headliner,seat covers,door panels,ect.. It has new FULL goodmark rear quater panels,front fenders,front inner fenders,core support,ect... No leaks or funny noises in the engine,trans or rearend. The aftermarket tach with shift light is not included in this sale. This is a nice looking car that runs strong, shifts fine, stops real nice and drives like new. any question please ask before bidding.
