Note: Car comes with $3,749.13 worth of Receipts for your records and proof of maintenance completed. I do not think you will find a better maintained CRX anywhere. Here is my 1988 Honda CRX Si – I have owned this for many years. I’ve had the pleasure of owning CRX’s since 1986. I sold my last one two years ago which was RHD ALL JDM import EF8 Glass top Cyber model – super rare! I know a good deal about these cars in general and also know that the best people to work on them are Certified Honda Mechanics ( they do it everyday ) - Anyhow, the car for sale here has been my Sunday driver. Last summer I only took it out twice to drive. I'm busy with work and am looking to buy and airplane and I could use the extra garage space. For the lucky buyer, the car is completely ready to drive. If you want me to bring the car to you – I can – but would need a plane ticket or rental car to get back home and a reasonable amount for my time. – I’m reasonable, and of course the car would need to be paid for somehow first. The car is located in Washington State near Portland Oregon and about 2 hours from Seattle. Car drives excellent! I’ve put in a lot of wrench time on this one – and had a ton of fun doing it. By the way, it’s been adult owned, I’m 43 years old - I’m not a racer, just a collector and lover of Hondas. I am not a dealer. Note to parents – This is a great first car, cheap to drive and dependable! Most of the parts that I added or replaced were not really needed. I just used extra money and enjoyed having it done little by little each month. Most of the work below was performed by certified Honda Mechanics with receipts. The people I bought this from towed it behind their motorhome for several years. Once I bought it, I took it to Honda to check it out. They replaced one of the half shafts, and both CV boots. – All Honda Receipts come with the car – oil changes etc.. I’m not looking for a ton of money out of the car but as you can see below it’s been a well-cared for car with a lot of money put into it. This would be a great car for a college student, or grandma that needs a dependable daily driver. You will get all the maintenance records and receipts that I have. Five speed with short shift kit. ($80) This car has Air Conditioning and works perfect. Blows cold! ( $135 to have recharged and serviced ) Tinted Windows Professionally done – no bubbles ( $250) New Struts all the way around, KYB GR-2 ($370) Nice Clarion Stereo – Used about 5-7 times over the past two years. ($140 ) New lowering springs, 1” ( not coilovers ) ( $275) New Carpet, black – paid $225 Halo Lights. ( $120 ) New plugs, and larger wires. ( $75 ) Headers and new muffler on the rear. ( $260 ) 14 “ Wheels and Tires. Almost brand new tires – I would guess about 30,000 miles left on the tread. New Speakers – Sony and some other brand. ( about $150 spent ) New ball joints New Brakes, and Rotors on the front. Slotted and Drilled. ( $200 ) Drives straight, no issues perfect alignment. New radio Antenna New Waterpump. Four Wheel alignment. New front Window. The last one had a little crack, so I had it replaced. ($425) Sunroof works, motors a little slow, super light rust on the top ( see pics ) Has always been garaged. - Super clean. Engine has never been messed with. ( All Honda maintenance up to date ) Brand new 12volt Battery ( $55 ) Strut tower brace bar ( $85 ) Buyer will get all of my extra parts – including some cool chrome add on’s that I have never used, odds and ends. Engine is strong and perfect. Dyno tested when I purchased the car. You get the paperwork for this. Timing Belt replaced and adjusted valves ( $325 ) New bottom Oil pan gasket – Honda mechanics suggestion. ( $145) New Alternator ( $175 ) New points in Cap and rotor ($45) Doesn’t burn oil – it’s been adult owned it’s whole life! The Bad: The front struts need to be adjusted a bit they make a little noise over larger bumps. About a quarter ( size of a quarter ) sized surface rust on Sunroof area. See pics. ( it’s very small ) The usual crack on the A/C controller on the inside – cosmetic issue only. Buyer agrees to contact me after the auction and send either full payment or put down $500 in earnest money with the balance to be paid within 7 days or what we agree on if you are from far away. Since the car was towed, it does have the usual small rock chips on the front lip of the hood. Yes, it has a Stainless rear performance Exhaust. The rear hatch cover is not broken, like in most CRX's out there. And I have new Struts on the back hatch so it stays open. Also, I have a front bra for the front hood ( not the whole Bumper ) Added brand new Wiper blades all the way around. Thank you.
