'76 Jeep CJ5 equipt with rag doors and roof. Rough and Ready as it looks. Allow your free time to smooth over rough edges and finish off a few minor mechanical issues I have not completed. History: I purchased this unit from a friend who just collected too much stuff, and had no knowledge or ambition to put this toy back out in the dirt. Specs: 304 V8 motor with rebuilt motorcraft 2BBL carburetor. DANA 3 speed fact transmission. WARN front locking hubs. Front Differential DANA 30, Rear Differential AMC 20. Original low back Jeep front buckets with factory rear bench seat. Factory steel dash panel with original gauges and no extra unwanted holes drilled. Windshield is fine, framework is showing surface rust. No carpet. Seats are weathered and need attention, clean if needed and enjoy. Tires 4-11x15LT with 1/4 tread. Wheels 4 factory Jeep wheels with Chevy trim rings. Tailgate factory but non operable (stationary). Condition: Gas tank needs to be dipped, treated and remounted with new steel lines to fuel pump. Vehicle will run with temporary mounted plastic fuel cell affixed to front bumper. This temporary mounting was only to test driveline out for mechanical knowledge- Runs and Sounds Fine. Rag doors and roof are what they are called..... RAGGED! CJ5 body is not rotted beyond repair, actually its rather nice for its age. Front sheet metal rough but useable, (L.S. fender inner wheelhouse removed, R.S. fender is complete). Hood has small crease from hitting windshield frame. Radiator needs flush and go. All moving mechanical driveline component parts are working. Warranty/guarantee: None other than to Hear it Run. Will start at time of pick up or prior to ensure you of a solid toy hoping to be tuned for a trail. (last time ran Aug 2010)
