This auction is for a 1973 datsun truck.I bought this truck from a local estate auction it belonged to a man that I have known all my life so I know the truck real well.He had bought the truck in 1974 but I am not sure if he bought it new or used but I do know that he has owned it since then.This truck runs like a new one no smoke no noises and absouletly no oil leaks.In fact he was over 90 years old and I dont think it has ever been over 50 mph ever! This was his primary means transportation once a week to town to play his guitar at the nursing home as he used to say for the old folks.Anyway I believe the paint to be original I havent seen any repairs to the body.Everything on it is original except the tires the spare tire is the original bridgstone.I was going to use this as a woods truck but its to nice for that I would like to see someone restore it I have to many projects right now or I would keep it.I plan on keeping the tires on it I just put them on it I will replace them with 4 new ones the correct size or if the buyer chooses I will leave these on it for an aditional 250.dollars I paid over 400 for them.The only rust on this truck is on the bottom outside corner of the doors they can be fixed.It needs a RF fender and front bumper also the shifter bushings need to be replaced a guy told me 150 dollars for that but it doesn't bother me.I honestly wouldnt hesitate driving it across country.If you have any questions feel free to message me.Thanks for looking.On Apr-09-11 at 18:02:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Also I forgot to mention I have replaced the brakes all the way around the truck the mastercylinder and we changed sparkplugs,wires,distributer and oil and all filters.All this truck needs is a new home I have to many projects or I would keep it.
