Vehicle Detail

The time has come to sell my 70 Mustang. I just completed a restoration on the car this past Thanksgiving, but due to some recent changes in my life including a sick parent, I don't have any time to drive or enjoy the car like I thought I would. So rather than let it sit in my garage unused, I've decided to sell. The car is a 1970 Mustang Coupe with a 302 and automatic transmission. It has been in the Southwest (Death Valley California and Arizona) it's whole life. It's never seen snow, ice, road salt, or even much water in it's entire life. It's a numbers matching car with the original 302 engine.Mileage: 133,000 (Lots of engine/interior/suspension work done - see below)VIN: 0R01F1638337Here's what I've done to it:Complete professional paint/body restoration including block and machine sanding, multiple primer coats and sealant, and basecoat/clearcoat paint in 1970-correct factory metallic blueComplete restoration of interior including:Complete removal of old interior and cleaning and sealing of the interior bodyNew interior underlaymentNew carpetSeating professionally reupholstered with all new materialNew headlinerNew dashboard/dashpadSeveral new interior panelsAll original interior panels reconditioned and recoated.New weatherstripping for all windows including rear windowWired for four speaker stereoRear 6x9 speakers installed and connected to wiringOriginal 1970 AM radio reconditioned and reinstalled with new dash speaker. Radio works, is connected to antennae and tunes stationsEngine upgraded with:New 70 351 Windsor headsEdelbrock Performer RPM intakeMild performance camHolley 4150 performance carb with mechanical secondaries3-Row Aluminum radiatorElectric fan conversionPerformance water-pumpPower steering system rebuiltPerformance dual exhaust with side exitsChrome dress-up kitSuspension reworked including:New performance rear springsNew KYB performance front strutsNew rear shock absorbersNew tires with classic Centerline rimsThe engine was professionally Dyno tuned at a performance shop here in Phoenix. Car is complete and ready to go.Included with the car is the original numbers matching set of 302 heads, original intake, and original carb if you are interested in doing a concours restoration.Likewise, I am also throwing in a 4-barrel Carter carb that will fit the Edelbrock intake, and an underdash AC unit if you want to add AC to the car (You'll need to source a compressor - this unit does everything else). The AC unit is what you would have received in 1970 if you ordered AC as a dealer installed option. Also included are new Ford Racing lowering springs for the front (Improves handing) and new ball joints (You have to remove them to install the springs so you might as well put in a new set). This is a fun car. It's fast and fun to drive. It gets a lot of looks and thumbs-ups on the freeway and streets, and does well at the track if you are so inclined. The car has a lot of further potential for a variety of uses from car club events to parades to racing to simple Sunday cruising. If I had the time, I'd be doing all of those, but my loss is your gain.
