1972 Triumph Daytona

1972 Triumph Daytona project bike. I have a title for the bike and the bare cases match the frame/ title. I purchased this from a guy that needed money asap and I was keeping it to redo but I have way too many ahead of this. The story goes it threw a rod so the guy bought the 1970 motor and put it together this far with intent to get it back on the road. The original cases have damage to the left case lower stud hole and a side casing bolt stripped it looks repairable which I was going to do and assemble the original motor. Extra head which has some engraving underneath stating it was ported in the 70's. The head was drilled for other carbs. also. Only have one carb and manifold , but have a set of cut block carbs from earlier models. There are a few broken fins on the bottom of the jugs. The clutch cover case has the cable hole broken , see photo but I have another case without the inspection cover . Steel and aluminum clutch baskets extra parts coils, trans cvr, cams , valve covers, etc. Tank is clean inside , extra petcocks ,only one emblem though. Harley rim an rear (rusty) has brake arm with rods . The front end is Jap. possible xs or cb with disc. All in all could be a fun project with extra pieces and parts but I'm sure you will need more. Chrome hex oil tank also. It has the triumph gauges and head lamp but it all needs to be redone. But it does have a clear title!! I decided to sell all together and with I believe is a low reserve.
