Vehicle Detail
Well here it is one of the VERY few of these cars remaining in the United States. It is now an antique and I am the 2nd owner of this car, i've owned it for just about 11 years and always babied it. It was stored in a heated garage during winter months and is in exellent condition inside and out. The interior is as if no one has ever been in it especially the back seats, beautiful black leather all around. I have 2 sets of rims and tires for it. It has a carbon fiber and leather Momo steering wheel and Momo shifter although I still have the original steering wheel, shifter, and all original equipment incase you want to change any modifications back to original including the Becker tape deck radio that came with the car. The car has a brand new fuel pump, fuel injectors, front struts and strut mounts, and alternator. The only thing that it may need is a water pump, I was told a year ago, so I bought and I have a brand new water pump that I will give to you with the car incase it does need to be changed in the future. Factory headers and I have a straight pipe in it now to hear and feel the engine breath as it should. I also installed a K&N air filter and 1 inch lower H&R lowering springs. It has 17" AMG Monoblock rims on it now. 5 speed manual "dog leg" transmission as you know if you are familiar with this car. Collectors of all sorts look for this car. Below I copied and pasted a paragraph from motivemagazine.com regarding a bit of the history on this car. The windows are legally tinted and the car just went through a full inspection and was appraised at $15,000 with value only to increase in time. I don't want to sell it but I have to as life brings somethings that are unplanned. Please feel free to call me @ 617-686-3454 my name is John or email me at deangelisjohn@ymail.com for more pictures and to talk about it. You could be the next owner of this "baby benz" ... It is incredibly fun to drive as you feel every motion of the road as well as being the center of attention in almost every place you go with it. I have the original window sticker and history of this car as well as both service manuals. Good Luck bidding! Benz faithful with balk at that claim, and anyone familiar with the past few decades of Germany's ever-evolving horsepower war will know why and agree. Another homologation special actually beat everyone's favorite BMW to the U.S. in 1986 - the Cosworth-engined Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16. The fact that this rare '80s racer (less than 2000 were officially imported) is so commonly overlooked is evidenced by our initial attempts to find one in the Chicago area, when a mass e-mail to the Mercedes-Benz club returned one reply that began, "Hello, I own a 190E 2.3 that I bought at about 75,000 miles . . ." Even some inside the Merc fold don't understand the importance of the 16-valve version of the 190E, a car that graced the States for only two years: 1986 and 1987.
