The 2nd owner purchased this coupe in 1986 from the original owner, his general manager at the time. The 2nd owner lived in Pebble Beach, California. He owned it for many years until 2008, recently leaving it to his son that lives here in Los Angeles. It was then parked in his son's garage, barley being driven. Up for auction for the first time in decades at No Reserve. This is a Rare 1961 Mercedes 220 SE Coupe / American model. 6 cylinder 4 speed manual transmission. Spent it's life in California making it a very desirable coupe. White with Red interior. Has been repainted once many years ago. The underneath is in good condition. Floors & pans as well are clean. The interior seems to be all original. The driver chair needs some work but it's complete. Running & driving just fine. Starts up & idles just fine. Shifts into all gears and brakes are in good shape. This is a non sunroof coupe. Can be driven around town.
