Vehicle Detail

Great opportunity to enjoy the best of all worlds - an all original matching number convertible that will only continue to rise in value - but is in great driver condition so you wont worry about getting that first scratch in the paint! First, the good news: Motor is FO516HT and factory vin stamp is real and matching. It's a rare real silver/silver car that is coded vinyl but was recovered in silver leather for comfort. The car really runs strong and fast with a 3:36 posi rear - also matching, and the matching Muncie 4-speed transmission. Every gauge, light, antenna, headlights, radio, etc works exactly like it should. Black soft top is like new, too. I have checked numbers on the intake, carb, alternator, and distributor and they all match up, too. It is a great survivor that is a real joy to drive. The not-as-good news: The fiberglass in front of the headlights has been repaired. It does not appear to have been major, but there is patch repair in the front. The clip is still the factory fiberglass (not a one-piece) and the headlight buckets line up perfectly, but you cant brag to have a no-hit body. All the rest of the fiberglass is untouched! There is a strange area of bubbles in the paint on the drivers fender - please see photo. I dont know the cause, but it has not changed in years. I want to sell this car and have set the reserve below $40k so bid to win!! I dont want any trades or any help selling, thank you. On Mar-28-11 at 15:45:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I neglected to mention the center dash has a hole drilled about the size of a bb. I am guessing that an alarm indicator was one placed there? Please see photo. Tim
