2002 Chevy Monte Carlo LS, Beautiful newer metallic black paint, near perfect black leather interior, loaded with options. This car runs and drives like a car with half the miles. Very dependable - we owned this car since 2003. Great 1st car for a young driver or buy it for your work car. Formally a yellow car from the factory, I had it repainted metallic black. Paint is very, very nice. No dents, scrapes, or big scratches on this car. The interior is near perfect with leather front and back seats, carpet is in super condition as well as the door panels and headliner. The engine is strong and recently we had the head gasket replaced. It does not burn oil, lose antifreeze or have a valve tap. We have a stack of service receipts documenting the oil changes and service intervals. The AC blows ice cold, and all of the options work. About the paint: This car was repainted a metallic black and is paint code PXR. This is a Dodge/Chrysler color. The door jambs and inside of the doors were painted black. The underside of the hood and trunk was not painted black but you can easily spray those areas black with a spray can. About the engine: The engine has been serviced regularly and I have all of the service records. I had the head gasket replaced because I had trouble with the heat fluxuating from hot to cold. Now the heat is perfect and stays hot in the winter. The engine does not burn oil or lose antifreeze as some older cars do. The transmission shifts and runs perfectly.
