It's an 83 lx. Has a 5.0 in it now. the 302 was out of a 79 f100 and professionally built. new brake lines, new fuel lines, new shoes, new lifters, new timing chain & gears, new gaskets & seals. work was done by family mechanic, dad's best friend, ($1400). New black top under warranty until 6/16/2013 ($1100), 4 new bfgoodrich 225/60r14 tires ($404), Hughes HUP-26-1 street & strip transmission with Hughes streetmaster 4125 torque converter ($1800 upgrade). full MAC dual exhaust w/headers and H pipe ($800), Puller electric racing fan$330, New Holley 4160 750cfm carb ($305) and Edelbrock Performer intake manifold ($160), MSD cap and wires ($125), brand new pioneer cd player ($225) and all new door and dash speakers ($150), lots of engine work done (manley intake and exhaust valves, crane pushrods, crane springs, crane retainers, crane studs, crane guide plates, crane keepers and seals. comp cams magnum roller rockers. engine bored .030.=($2225) Car has always been garage kept. Body has no rust. I have documentation + receipts... so much money invested, over $7k. AND with all these upgrades done after 100k miles, all these items are like new, as the car only has 105k miles on it right now. This was my fathers car. He passed away and left it to me. it is a nice car, but i love motorcycles. that is what i am selling the car to purchase. He also told me that the heads on this motor are special from california, but I don't know why. I have a ton of receipts as far back as the 1984 sales receipt.
