Vehicle Detail
The 3.0 V6 engine in this car runs great. The battery is 1½ years old, the am/fm radio works good, but the cassette player does not. The A/C worked well up to last year but no longer blows cold air. I`m assuming the system lost its refrigerant charge. The heater, fan, fan control, and rear defrost work good. All the cloth seats are in very good condition and the power seat control works good. The brake pads don`t look like they need to be replaced right away but sometime soon. The tread on one tire is 2/32, two tires 4/32 and the other is 8/32. The body as you can see in the photos is pretty good with some rust here and there except along the rocker panels. Both sides below the passenger doors are pretty much rusted through. The transmission does not shft into the overdrive gear, so at 55 mph the tach is running at 2900 rpm. The tranny uses about a quart of fluid every (approx.) 500 miles. I don`t see puddles under the car so I can`t tell you where it`s going. This car is good for errand running in town or for a student driving to high school, but I wouldn`t suggest driving it very far on the highway due to the overdrive issue. We are selling it because we need a car that is going to do a lot of out of town driving this fall. This has been a good car for us and served us well, but with the rust and transmission issues, I don`t know how much longer it will last. If the buyer is not satisfied with this car after seeing it, I will let the buyer opt out of purchasing it, but PLEASE be a serious bidder. If you have any questions or if you want more pictures feel free to ask. Thank you
