Vehicle Detail
DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND LIST ONE MORE TIME: This is a gorgeous car!!! 1968 Ford Mustang with 289 Automatic, C code car. Body is very straight, a few rust bubbles under new paint. Chrome is pretty good condition, new front bumper. Has headers, new exhaust all the way back. New traction bars, Yellow. New Cragers and new tires. Has rust on driver side floor board, about 6" circle approximately. New carpet, new mustang floor mats, new seat covers, has original consol, slider works great and is very popular and rare to find still in car. Headliner is there but some seams are coming undone. Steering is very tight, no play at all. Runs and drives good. A real eye catcher, everyone looks at her when ya drive by!!!!!! If your looking for "old-school" car--this car is for you. It is not a stock car. Just putting ad on for 3 days, told my husband don't want to sell it, but budget is tight right now. PS...her name is Jessica:) Happy Bidding!! On Mar-26-11 at 06:51:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been getting lots of questions on pics of rust, the title, and requests for pics of the underside of Jessica. I have added photos to the listing so check them out. I don't know if picking "salvaged" was the right word for the title description. The car has a clear title, just went last week and put it in my husband's name to get new tags and switch over to him. The title says "RECONSTRUCTED" on it. That is how I bought the car. I am not sure why or where or when the damages were done. She looks perfect to me:) The new title will be arriving via mail to us within the next two weeks, in the meantime, we have the temporary title paperwork and will do a bill of sale at time of sale. Then when the title is mailed to us we will forward to the new owner. The tags on the car are good now till 2012. Looking at the pics you can kinda see the rust bubbles on the door. It's a little bigger than a silver dollar in size. On the other pic of the underneath on the drivers side you can definitely see the rust hole there. it does not go all the way through as sheet metal has been installed from inside to close it up. It is not noticable from the inside of the car. Thank you everyone that has been so nice for appreciating Jessica. She will be missed.
