This is a solid great running truck. I bought this truck to make into a monster off road truck but my wife ended up driving it daily back and forth to work. This could easily remain a daily driver for along time or become a beast in the sand dunes or in the mud pits. This truck did pass the Pennsylvania DOT inspection in 2008. Drivetrain: The engine was replaced with a brand new create motor and the original carb set up was replaced with a fuel injection system from a 1994. Also stainless headers were put on and has an aftermarket air cleaner system installed (k & N). The auto trans and transfer case were both totally rebuilt at the time of the engine upgrade. So the drivetrain only has about 27,000 miles on it. The truck has a new radiator and radiator support on the front. The front end has been recently gone over and new balljoints installed, so the wheels are nice and staight like when new. The truck has a 10" suspension lift. I recently replaced and relocated the ignition and fuel moduals so when off roading you don't have to worry about water. At anytime you can reach in and turn the key and she will fire and start on the first crank. Body: For the most part the body is solid. There is some rust issues of course, but for a 23 year old truck its not bad. The body mounts and under body is rock solid. The floor has go holes or 'about' holes. The rockers are solid also. The cab corners need some attention. The front clip is great. This is the 6ft bed truck. The bed has a slight twist that could easily be staightened. There is a bed liner, but the bed floor is not rusted or spreading. There is the typical rust above the wheels and at the bottom edge (see pics). The truck does need tires. As I stated above the front end was repaired recently but the damage to the tires from the wheels leaning has been done. Now that the wheels are staight again the abnormal wear on the tires makes the steering a little "grabby" as my wife puts it. With new tires this will go away. If the truck sells for over $4000 I will have new tires (same as whats on it now) put on before you drive it home. Interior: Everything works! Power locks, power windows, nice aftermarket radio, tilt steering, all dash lights, AC works but needs to be recharged. I put in a new center counsil for my wife with front and back cup holders. The seats show wear but we put nice covers on. The bads: It does have headers, and if you have ever had a vehicle with header you know how the gaskets constantly leak after a short time. So with that one of the header gaskets needs to be replaced. Like a stated earlier the header are stainless so they should last for years and not rust out or leak. Just the darn gaskets. Also the truck runs alittle rough at an idle. I think it might be the throttle position sensor but I haven't had time to look in depth at it. It has been this way for the last 2 years and not caused any problems. It won't stall or have any loss of power so I didn't worry to much about it. It needs tires. Thats all I know!! Again this is a 23 year old truck with some signs of its age but it still turns heads and is fun to drive. Thanks for your interest. I am selling this vehicle as is and with no warranty of any kind.
