1988 Suzuki

Up for auction is my 1988 Suzuki Cavalcade. I found this bike 1 1/2 yrs ago with 6000 miles on it. What a find! It now has just over 13,000 miles. This is my third Cavalcade. What great bikes. There is nothing on this bike that does not work. When I purchased the bike, the previous owner had tied the clutch back to the bar for storage. He was told that was the best thing to do. Well, I think most of us know better. Any way, it sat like that for many years because he passed away. The clutch was giving me trouble because the slave corroded, the springs compressed and the master cylinder plugged. I had all those parts rebuilt or replaced as well as put in new plates and Barnett springs. All radio buttons work, air ride works, both seat bolsters work. The bike is dependable and beautifull. There are a couple of minor cosmetic items, but overall beautifull. I tried to show them in the photos. There is a scrape on the left fairing right on the edge. There is another on the edge of the left faux vent. Neither of those are noticable because of the bikes color and the location. The left saddle bag cover has scratches on the top near the seat and is not visible looking from the side. The air box cover/faux gas tank has a small crack in the upper right corner. There is a small spot on the seat that looks as though it is a past repair, possibly a cigarette burn. It looks pretty good. All the chrome is pretty awesome. The previous owner put the lxe case guard/highway foot rest/cornering lights on it. The lights are not hooked up and one light is broken. I have the old one as well as many extra parts the previous purchased plus many extra parts from my old Cades. Also has a new battery. I will be putting on a new front tire before it goes unless you would rather have the cash to pick out your own. This tire could still take you home. Last summer I rode this bike 2500 miles in 5 days with no problems. If you want to fly in and ride the bike home, we can arrange that. Or, I can cooperate with long distance shipping and can even offer shorter distance delivery for a small fee. I am putting in a reserve that is what I think low. I would be shocked if the bidding doesn't surpass it quickly. I have never seen one with this few miles and I don't think you will find one either.
