Vehicle Detail
My son's '72 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 longbed, 3/4 ton. Truck has 350/350, pwr. steering.70,000 miles and some change ago, this truck was completely gone through, bumper to bumper...new 350 motor, new 350 trans, transfer case, both diffs, springs, driveshafts, brakes..everything was either rebuilt or new. Paint and upholstery was also new at this time. About five months ago, my son slid on one of our many dirt roads here, and went over the bank, down the hill, and through a barbed wire fence. Drivers side fender, door (still opens and closes),front bumper, drivers side front shock mount, and pitman arm were all damaged by a metal "T" post. Fender, I would replace, along with the pitman arm, the rest could be easily fixed. I started it the other day, and now it has a miss, carb., it sounds like to me. This truck was well taken care of, and wasn't driven hard, but now that it's in this shape, my son has bought a newer truck , and after some debate, has decided to sell. For further questions, Paul 208-369-4497 Buyer is responsible for shipping and or pick up of this vehicle. To answer a few questions on this truck, it does have dual tanks, and they are both fully functional. Rear axle is a Dana 60, and the front is a Dana 44. It is a disc brake truck, and the rear has a clutch type limited slip. Ram horn exhaust, that is dualed, with a Carter 4bbl.. It will have to be trailered...it runs and drives, but because the pitman arm was bent, by the T post, it doesn't turn to the right, due to the arm coming up against the steering knuckle. Hope this helps.
