This is a 1952 Ford F-1 Pick Up Truck. This Truck has a Clear Title. The This truck still has the original Flathead V-8 Engine and 3 Speed Manual Transmission with the Shifter on the Floor. The Truck was used as an Oil Company Vehicle, many years ago and still has the Sandridge Oil Company and Esso Products paint on both doors. This Advertising is unique and original to this truck. The Advertising and Patina make this a very cool looking old truck and really give it the Rat Rod appearance that everyone is looking for. The Paint on the Fenders and Bed has been replaced, with an effort to match the original paint on the Cab. The truck looks great this way. The Truck is in good condition. It has some Rust, in the usual places. I took good pictures and am trying to show the true condition of the Vehicle. The Cab is very solid. The Cab Corners are in good condition. The Doors are solid and in good condition. There are some rust holes, in the Floor. The Seat has a rip in it. The Windshield and rear Glass are good. Both of the Door Windows are cracked. The Steering Wheel looks good. The Gauges look good, but the chrome is peeling. The Hood is pretty solid, but does have some rust in it. The Front Fenders have rust in the seams and at the Running Boards. The Grill looks good. The Running Boards look good, but have a little rust in them. The Bed has rust in it. There is a sheet of Plywood, in the Bed Floor. The original Bed Strips are gone. The Rear Fenders have rust in them. The Tail Gate has rust on it. All of the rust is minor or manageable and ads to the Rat Rod look. The amount of rust is just as the pictures show and not any worse. I just want to disclose the rust, so you understand exactly what you are bidding on. The Truck's Brake System has been completely rebuilt. It got new Wheel Cylinders, Master Cylinder, Shoes and Brake Lines. This truck has good brakes and can be driven. I was told, by the previous owner that the Engine had been rebuilt. I do not know if this is true, but it was apparently painted, while the Truck was apart. The Engine looks good and starts easily. The Truck is loud and needs Exhaust. This truck came with a 12 Volt Battery and I have always started and run it with a 12 Volt Battery. That may have something to do with how well it starts. The Truck is basically complete, but is missing the Rear Bumper and Tail Lights and may be missing some other small items. If you don't see them, you may assume that I do not have them. The Wheels are 15" and the Hub Caps are not original. The Tires are good, but not brand new. The Headlights are not hooked up. The wires are cut, inside the Engine Compartment.. I think these were probably cut, when the front Fenders were replaced. I have not connected them. I didn't drive this truck enough to need to. I have tried to detail the actual condition of the truck, but will be happy to answer any questions through email.
