Vehicle Detail

This awesome 1957 Chevy 2 door hard top is a great project car that I have been working on as time allows. I purchased from the second owner who began the restoration and sold it because of a devorce. I have well over $12,000 worth of receipts, but unfortunatley, I am in the process of moving and since life happens, my loss is your gain. I am the third owner and have all the documentation. It is a San Antonio Car and was purchased from a local dealer on February 14, 1957 - Mike Pesia Chevrolet. My Dad may have serviced this car as he worked as a mechanic for Mike Persia from 1945 to the 70's. In fact, he has helped me with some of the restoration. It has a rebuilt 327 engine, a new dual exhaust system, rebuilt 4 barrel WCFB Carter Carbruator and a rebuilt turbo hydromatic 350 automatic transmission. I have purchased a totally new wiring harness and have installed some of it....the rest is up to you. It has a brand new radiator and all new hoses and many other parts. I beleive I have all of the stainless, but not 100% sure. The bumpers still need to be re-chromed. The passenger floor board and the trunk floorboard are perfect as you can see from the pictures. Interior will need to be done, but all is included. I even have a working am radio for this car. I took it to a local restorer and he said he told me that he has not seen a more straight 57 chevy....so you could paint it any color you wanted at this point. Winning bidder to make a $500 deposit via paypal immediatly upon winning the bid. I would like the balance in cash, cashiers check or wire transfer within 7 days from the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for pick up and transport. Please let me know if you have questions. Good luck with the bidding and thank you for your interest. On Mar-20-11 at 19:45:50 PDT, seller added the following information: If you pay with a Cashier's check, the check needs to clear prior to releasing the car. Thank you. On Mar-24-11 at 17:37:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to clarify that the engine was re-built in the mid 80's not mid 90's as previously mentioned. The engine is new and re-built and is a 327 engine, not a 283. It is a work in progress and I have not started this engine as of yet. As far as accepting paypal, I will accept paypal only for the initial $500 down payment within 24 hours of the close of the auction. As far as the rest of the payment, I prefer to accept payment via wire transfer or cashiers check and the payment must clear the bank prior to releasing the car. However, if the winning bidder is willing to pay the 2.5% paypal fee, then contact me after the sale and I will send you an invoice via paypal for the adjusted amount of the balance due. Thank you for your interest and for your bid.
