NO RESERVE! Up for bid a 1969 Mercury Cougar 2 door hardtop. My winter project, that never happened. VERY strong running ORIGINAL H code 351W updated with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb as well as an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake manifold. Headers and MSD electronic ignition added. Starts 1st time EVERY time! Loud, strong and simply BAD ASS on the street. Updated with a B&M street shifter, I can get rubber in 3 gears. Has trouble with reverse though, sometimes it will go in, sometimes it won't. It's just got to be the cable, but that's out of my league. Interior is all there, driver seat needs to be redone, passenger seat is OK, rear seats are in good condition. NO FLOOR RUST! Solid! Headliner- PERFECT! Dash in excellent shape. Carpet worn. Will need tires, but drivable if you are brave. It IS a project, rust spots on driver and passenger doors,spot on top rear pass quarter panel, rusted under vinyl top, other than that the BODY is pretty SOLID! Trunk is in great shape- I have all the parts to finish it, and many extras JUST in case. Check out the pictures. EXTRAS- to complete the project: Complete roof! Rust issues with current roof under vinyl top. Drivers side door with mirror & trim. 2 driver side windows, 2 driver side regulators, posts and hardware. Passenger door complete, with window and regulator. 2 extra windshields. Front bumper- needs to be straightened. Rock guard- needs to be straightened. Boss 302 hood scoop- BRAND NEW! Brand new battery! Lights- need to be reinstalled. Grill- all the pieces are there- middle piece will need to be fixed. 2 middle grill Mercury Man emblems. Assorted trim pieces- Mid hood trim, passenger eye brow, front windshield, rear window, wheel wells Extra ashtray with lighter. 2 rear sequential boxes and wires for rear lights and brakes. Alarm.
