NOW RELISTING THIS AS A SINGLE CARB TIGER/TRPHY...EMAIL ME W/ ANY QUESTIONS - WE DID FIND THE ORIGINAL KEYS!!! I am listing the following bike for an Estate Sale. I have 100% positive feedback on Ebay since 2002, and the winner of this auction may cancel the transaction upon inspection if they feel the bike has been materially misrepresented in any way (we will not be liable for any expenses incurred, such as travel, etc.). I STRONGLY recommend an on site inspection of the bike before bidding, if you are unsure of any aspect of its condition/authenticity. The owner passed away several months ago, and we have not been able to locate the title. We did locate registrations from the early seventies, and the bike still wears its 1973 New Mexico License plate (included in the sale). The New Mexico MVD was unable to issue a duplicate title to the executor of the estate because they do not keep records as far back as 1973. They suggested a surety bond procedure, which is standard procedure. This bike has been in the exact same spot for over 20 years (the deceased owner's home) without moving.. My limited research shows no record of theft or any other issues. While we do not anticipate that you will encounter any unusual problems in obtaining clear title in your state, it is imperative that you be aware that we can offer only a bill of sale , properly executed by the executor (including a copy of the death certificate), and the old registration at this time. You may incur additional expense in obtaining title , so please bid accordingly.1967 TRIUMPH 650 TIGERUP FOR SALE IS WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE A 1967 TRIUMPH 650 MOTORCYCLE. THIS BIKE IS IN ORIGINAL NEW MEXICO RUST-FREE CONDITION AND WOULD BE A GREAT RESTORATION PROJECT. THE ENGINE KICKS OVER (No attempt was made to get it running,n but it turns/kicks over fine) . BIKE APPEARS 100% ORIGINAL. BELIEVE ALL THE NUMBERS MATCH (EMAIL IF YOU NEED SOMETHING VERIFIED). ODOMETER SHOWS 12,900 MILES ON IT !!! .THE GAS TANK IS VERY CLEAN/dry INSIDE WITH NO EVIDENCE OF RUST. THE BIKE APPEARS TO BE 100% COMPLETEEVEN THE SEAT IS STILL VERY NICE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A .75 INCH TEAR. ONE MIRROR GLASS IS CRACKED AND THE ORIGINAL RUBBER FOOTPEGS ARE PRESENT BUT TORN. LOCAL PICK-UP IS PREFERRED, UNLESS OTHER ARRAINGEMENTS ARE MADE.YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING AND SHIPPING RELATED (e.g. pallet charge) CHARGES, I will assist in getting it transported. It is located at the intersection of I-25 and I-40 zip code 87107 BID EARLY AND OFTEN AS THESE MACHINES ARE BECOMING QUITE RARE!!!VERY,VERY LOW RESERVE !!!THANKS FOR VIEWING MY AUCTION, GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING !!! On Mar-21-11 at 21:50:27 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI - I've been advised (see questions below) that this is probably a TROPHY- especially when he mentioned they are supposed to be "mist green" and white, I believe that is what this is a a faded silvery gray/green, with white as second color. And we belive the seat upholstery is not original. I'll try to post more details/info about the chrome & frame number after reinspection, on Friday morning or earlier. And yes, the old registrations say 1967 model year. On Mar-24-11 at 20:55:05 PDT, seller added the following information: THURSDAY: OK, RE-INSPECTED BIKE TODAY- ALL NUMBERS MATCH 100% Verified left frame rail number matches engine number exactly. Fenders are stainless steel, not painted- very nice condition stainless throughout bike. One of the mufflers has a very small ding, probably while in storage.Believe nothing on this bike has ever been painted. One of the shock/fork rubber boots is torn open would need to be glued or replaced. Nothing missing just separated, I imagine these are easy to get, but if not it could be glued and then undetectable. CHROME CONDITION : I examined the chrome pieces on the tank VERY closely. If I say they are perfect someone might complain, but I will say they are really, really cherry. Apparently English chrome was done very well back then because really I couldnt even see much in the way of specks under a microscope. No way would I say these would need anything other than cleaning, although ythe right side one had a smudge? of something I think is just needs to be removed w/solvent, had 5 guys with me viewing bike, so didnt have time to play w/that smudge and didnt want to damage the chrome by scraping at it . I am 98% sure it is just small speck of something on the surface like a drop of super glue or something. Gas tank appeared 100% dent free, again really nice. Bike will need to be gone through mechanically, sitting 20-30+ years, dusty, owner was nearly 80 when passed, prob. couldn't ride it for last 25+? years due to age, and Albuquerque has scary traffic- I am scared to ride in town now at 48. Tires look good to me, no dry rot, but very old, stored inside in dark heated garage, but I must recommend replacing them for safety concerns. IF ANY OF THE GUYS WHO VIEWED BIKE TODAY Want TO POST THEIR CELL NUMBERS TO ASSIST SOMEONE ELSE, JUST LET ME KNOW. I guess that could be a conflict of interest , but I am not worried too much, this is a beautiful bike time machine, someone is going to love, and it will sell for sure. REMEMBER! as so often happens with these Ebay auctions, if the top bidder doesn't pay, we will be sending out SECOND CHANCE OFFERS in order to next highest bidders. The bike WILL be sold this auction. THANKS and best of luck to all.
