Up for sale is a really sharp fully restored 71 Chevelle. I recently purchased it from an individual that has owned it since 1991 and just finished the restoration. It was originally a 6 cylinder car with a 3 speed on the column. It still has the clutch pedal under the dash. This was a perfect car to restore because it only had 52000 miles on it back in 1991 and just a couple hundred over that now. It has a 454 totally rebuilt, which is pretty much stock with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley carb, and Hooker super comp headers. It also has a brand new aluminum radiator. It has a built turbo 400 transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end. It had rust in both of the lower front fenders, so it has 2 brand new fenders. The quarters and rockers were in good shape. The paint and body is in excellent condition. It doesn't have a single scratch, chip, or bubble in the paint. The bumpers are original and in very good condition. The rest of the trim is either new or in great shape. All of the interior is original except for the seats being recovered and new carpet. The rest of the interior is very nice. The steering wheel doesn't even have a crack in it. It has power steering and power brakes. I've drove the car about 30 miles and it drives great. I would update it with front brakes. The only thing i've noticed that didn't work is the interior dash lights, and i haven't checked into them. This isn't a numbers matching SS, but it is a very nice low mileage Chevelle with a big block. The car looks really good in the trunk and the underside has all been painted nice too. I've taken pics to show there is no leaks. You can tell that this is a high-quality restoration. Its light blue outside with dark blue interior.
