Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating all of the overhead expensed that the bigger dealers pass down to you. I personally test drive each car at least 30 miles before listing it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. This description is my honest opinion of this car based completely on my test drive. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic, nor do I send my cars to a mechanic for inspection. Keeping costs low is how I can sell EVERY CAR with NO RESERVE. I welcome any questions as well as personal inspections whenever possible. I will do my best to answer anything you throw at me. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid amount of every auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a nice, older Caddy. This 1989 Cadillac Sedan DeVille is finished in a deep burgundy exterior with matching burgundy leather interior. I would rate the condition of the exterior of this car as AVERAGE. There are no major flaws to point out but there are some scratches here and there. I could find NO RUST on the body of this car. I just washed it off for the photos and it looks good. I think a fresh coat of wax would make her look like a million bucks. The wire wheel covers are in great shape and come with the original wheel cover removal tool. The tires all have decent tread left on them for the next owner. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. All of the chrome looks good, too. Just look at the photos! She looks good from any angle. Don't get me wrong, this isn't an old lady church car in mint condition...but it is in better shape than most 22 year old cars you'll see. I would rate the interior of this Sedan DeVille on the low side of average. The reason for this is the door panels. The drivers door panel is the worst of them as you can see. There is a small rip in the passengers front arm rest. The back two aren't bad. Otherwise, the seats are decent and don't appear to be ripped at all. The power seats work well and are pretty comfortable to sit in. The carpets are clean and full. The headliner is clean but loose in spots. The automatic climate control works as it should. The air conditioning is ice cold, too. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work as they should with the exception of the front passengers window. The window won't go up. You can hear the motor trying but it won't lift the window. I don't know what the issue is but the window is inoperable at this time. The only other interior issue is the radio. It turns on but won't stay on. I think the issue is with the power button. The complete original owners manual is in the glove box along with the tool for removing the wire wheel covers. The rear seats are comfortable and spacious. I am 6'1" and I fit in the back with room to stretch (even with the front seat set for someone of my height). The trunk is huge and clean. Mechanically, this car is in very good condition for the age and miles. The 4.5L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. The belt makes some noise when you first start it up but gets quiet after it runs for a minute. It is dry under where I parked this car so i would say that there are no notable fluid leaks. During my test drive, this DeVille behaved very well. The big V8 makes plenty of power and shoots this car down the road without breaking a sweat. Accelleration is a breeze thanks to all the power at hand. At highway speeds, she drives strait as an arrow down the road. I felt no pulling or vibrations. The suspension is tight as it should be and the steering is light and responsive. The brakes feel strong and stop the car effectively. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. All in all, I think this is a very solid car on its way to being a classic. All of the important things are all there. With a little bit of time and effort, this could be a very nice older driver. You don't see many of these on the road any more. The nice thing is that you can take your time and pick at the things that are worn while using the car as a daily driver (although I'd check out the window sooner than later). If you want the window repaired prior to picking the car up, please let me know. I will have it taken care of and just add the bill to the bid amount. Without knowing for sure, I would guess about $100 +-. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
