Up for sale 2000 Audi A8 Quattro 4.2 V8 automatic. Helping to my close family friend to sell it. He is in the army right now and will be out of states for another few months. This car sat for almost 6 months on the side of the street till snow plow clipped the front bumper (see pics.). I brought it home,put brand new battery into it and it started right up! ABS and blinking BRAKE light stay on when started. Not sure if it needs new brakes or is it cause of the new battery. I know the car has all new tires,new timming belt,water pump, thermostat and serpentine belt. Took it for a test drive and it seems to be running just fine. Engine is smooth and quiet,with no smoke nor leaks. Interior has some wear, but nothing torn or broken. Radio reads SAFE mode,cause it needs some kind of code. All service manuals are in the car,so this code might be in one of them. I noticed that CD changer cartridge is missing in the trunk and aftermarket Sony Xplod amplifier has been hooked up to the speakers. Besides the front bumper damage, as you can see in the pictures the rear bumper left side has been previously pushed in and left corner tail light is broken. All lights are still in tact and work fine. I've noticed two small dents on driver side doors.The car can be driven the way it is, so if you live near by, test drive could be arranged. Otherwise i can help to find cheaper shipping at buyer expense. The title is clean,clear and signed by the owner.
