In this auction we bring you a truck that will make someone a very nice truck for a small investment. This truck currently needs engine work and I am NOT a mechanic, but have gotten two different opinions on the proper repair. It has developed an injector problem that in common to these engines and I had the local Chevy dealer start the truck and diagnose it's problem. They told me that all 8 injectors are bad and need replaced and also told me the rest of the engine sounds and looks solid. An independent diesel shop that is highly regarded told me that the truck just needs an injector nozzle kit installed. Again, I am NOT a diesel mechanic and I have no more info than that. Please don't ask me for advice, I don't know any more than I have already described. Now for the good news! This is a one-owner truck from Georgia that is absolutely as nice as any 2002 with 148,540 could possibly be. No rust whatsoever, no body damage, very clean interior with just slight driver seat wear, and a very straight body. This truck shows no sign of previous paint or body work and everything in the interior and in the engine compartment appears original and unmolested. No gauge pods, whiz-bang power programmers, muffler delete exhaust, or any other crazy aftermarket junk! If you are looking for a great towing rig to pull your boat, RV, race car, horse trailer, or whatever, this truck will sure-enough get the job done after you or your buddies or your favorite diesel gearhead get it up and running again.
